Holy Humor Sunday is THIS SUNDAY!!
What is Holy Humor Sunday?
The idea behind it is that God played the greatest practical joke on the devil by raising Jesus from the dead. "Holy Humor Sunday services not only give Christians an opportunity for ongoing celebrations of the greatest miracle in human history - Jesus' resurrection - it also gives each of us an opportunity to celebrate, and give thanks for, our own smaller resurrections in this world and this life."
What should I wear?
Something silly, something fun, a decked-out hat, a full head-to-toe fantabulous ensemble... Feel free to be as silly as you dare. This is a chance for everyone to relax, smile, even (GASP!) LAUGH in church! Celebrate the joy we find in our faith!
