“EL ROI — The God Who Sees Me”

This song was born out of a deep reflection on the story of Mary Magdalene — a woman the world had already condemned. People were ready to stone her, defining her by her past, her mistakes, her sins. But where others saw shame, God saw value. Where others saw an ending, Jesus saw a beginning.

That’s the heart behind “El Roi” — the God who sees. Not the version of us shaped by judgment, labels, or rejection… but the truth of who we are in Him.

Mary’s story didn’t end in accusation. It continued in redemption. She walked with Jesus. She learned from Him. And in one of the most powerful moments in Scripture, she stood at the tomb and spoke with the risen Savior — not as someone cast aside, but as someone chosen, seen, and loved.

This song is a reminder:
We don’t live by man’s standards.
We don’t strive for man’s approval.
We live for God — the One who sees us fully and still calls us His.

“El Roi” is for anyone who has ever felt overlooked, misjudged, or defined by their past. God sees you differently. He always has.

There is something deeply beautiful about the moment when Jesus says, “Let the little children come to me.” He wasn’t just speaking about age—He was pointing to a posture of the heart. Children come with openness, trust, joy, and wonder. They don’t overthink His love—they receive it freely.

In a world that often teaches us to be guarded, self-reliant, and skeptical, Jesus invites us back to something simple and pure: childlike faith. A faith that believes, that delights, that runs toward Him without hesitation. There is beauty in that kind of surrender. There is freedom in that kind of trust.

And that’s exactly what we love to nurture in the next generation. 💛

We’re so excited to invite your children to **Heritage Camp this summer**—a completely FREE arts program for kids who love dancing, singing, and growing in their love for Jesus. It’s a space where creativity and faith come together, and where children are encouraged to encounter Him with joy and confidence.

Joseph the Dreamer’s story is one of the most powerful reminders that purpose is often hidden inside pain. Betrayed by his own brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused, and imprisoned—Joseph’s journey looked anything but promising. Yet, through every twist and setback, God was quietly at work.

Joseph had dreams as a young man—visions of leadership and influence that seemed impossible given his circumstances. But those dreams were not random; they were God-given glimpses of a bigger plan. Even when everything around him suggested failure, Joseph remained faithful. He chose integrity in Potiphar’s house, perseverance in prison, and humility when he was finally elevated to power in Egypt.

This journey is beautifully reflected in the song *“Vivid” performed by Ben Grady*. The song captures the tension between confusion and clarity—the way God’s purpose can feel distant in the moment but becomes unmistakably clear over time. Just like Joseph, the lyrics echo the idea that what once seemed broken or meaningless is actually being painted into something intentional and full of life.

“Vivid” reminds us that God doesn’t waste any part of our story. The dark seasons, the waiting, the setbacks—they are all brushstrokes in a bigger picture we may not yet fully see.

Joseph’s life ultimately reveals a profound truth: what others meant for harm, God used for good. He became the very person who would save nations, including the family that once betrayed him. His story wasn’t just about personal success—it was about being positioned exactly where God needed him to fulfill a greater purpose.

In the same way, “Vivid” invites us to trust that our lives are part of something bigger. Even when we can’t see it, God is working behind the scenes, aligning every moment with His plan.

Joseph didn’t just survive his journey—he stepped fully into God’s purpose for his life. And maybe that’s the encouragement we need today: your story isn’t over, and what feels unclear now may one day become beautifully, undeniably vivid.

Enjoy Vivid, by Ben Grady in A Plan For Redemption.
