💙 His Grace Is Greater

Don’t limit God by believing your sin is too great for His grace.

The well of God’s grace never runs dry. There is nothing you have done that is beyond the ability of Christ to atone for and cleanse you from.✝️

His grace is greater than our sin. 🙌

If you’ve been carrying guilt or wondering if God’s grace could really cover you, remember: Christ has paid the penalty. His grace is sufficient.

When we join the church, we make promises.

We promise to regularly gather with the church.
We promise to use our gifts and talents to serve.
We promise to financially support the ministry of the church.

But here’s the question we must honestly ask ourselves: Are we keeping those promises?

A church covenant isn’t simply words we say—it’s a commitment we make to one another and to the Lord.

Take a few minutes to watch this clip and consider: Am I faithfully keeping the commitments I made when I joined the church?

A Covenant Is More Than Words. It’s a Commitment.

Our church covenant reminds us of the promises we have made—not only to God, but to one another as members of the body of Christ.

When we see these commitments as simple suggestions, it becomes easy to make excuses or let other things take priority. But when we remember that we have given our word to one another, it changes the way we approach those responsibilities.

One of those commitments is to regularly attend the gatherings of the church. We don’t gather simply because we have nothing else going on. We gather because we have committed ourselves God and to one another.

Your presence matters. Your commitment matters. We need one another.

Let’s be faithful to the promises we have made and encourage one another to live them out.

Knowing God’s grace gives us the courage to confess our sin.

They didn’t hide their sin from God. They confessed it because they knew He was gracious and merciful.

They knew they had rebelled. They knew they had grieved His heart. And yet, they still came to Him, confessed, and worshiped.

Why?

Because their confidence wasn’t in themselves. It was in who God is.

We can be honest about our sin because we can trust the God who meets us with grace.

His grace gives us the freedom to confess—and the freedom to worship. 🙏
