The person who walks in wisdom is very aware of his/her life, how he/she affects the world, and how the world affects him/her. He/she recognizes that every person faces three enemies in life: the world system, the flesh, and the devil. He/she seeks to know God's plan and purpose-not only for his/her personal life but also every situation involving other people around him/her. -God's Way Day by Day

Hey First Christian Church,

This is a change! Help us share!

Join us for Christmas Eve at 6:00pm for a virtual candlelight service. We will have special music, lighting of the Christ candle, a short devotion, communion and a special candle light singing of silent night.

We are sorry to say that the weather does not look good for this Thursday for our outdoor service and the numbers we were expecting would not allow for us to be indoors because of Covid restrictions. Please help us get the word out! We will be streaming here on Facebook live only. If you got a luminary in memory or in honor of someone, we encourage you to stop by the church office Tuesday or Wednesday and get a luminary that you can have in your home for the service.The bookmarks that we are having made will be available for you to pick up Sunday at church in the vestibule or you can drop by the church anytime next week and pick those up. Merry Christmas to everyone. We love you all!

FCC family,

This is a last minute decision but we have several Covid cases going around in our church family and families of our church family. Some have become very serious. Tonight at 6:30 please join me live on Facebook as we have a little time of cooperate prayer for these families and a real touch from the Lord. We may be separate in location but we can agree together as one. Together we are better!

Hey Church Family,

We have a change for this coming up drive in service to celebrate Labor Day weekend. This Friday, September 4, 2020; We invite everyone to come an hour early, bring your picnic dinner, lawn chair or blanket and have dinner in the parking lot with us before we worship and hear the message. This is how it works:
Come at 6pm!! Service starts at 7!
Bring your dinner!
Set up your chair or blanket by your car or you can remain in your car.
Eat together as we socially distance.
Stay for church.
While we are together for dinner; the church has asked Covanelli’s to come and provide a treat for you all. You can order one ice treat per person and the church will take care of it.

We are asking each family to bring either a box of pop-tarts, instant grits, or oatmeal to provide for the CHEWS program.

Remember... we still have to socially distance! Please remain by your vehicle while you eat. Please don’t mingle to near by cars to visit. Thank you!

We have another weekend of potential rain so this is weather permitting. We will have alternate plan for service either Saturday night or Sunday morning if weather doesn’t permit. Pray for great weather and come join us as we gather together to worship the Lord!
