BMI CHRISTIAN LEADERS FELLOWSHIP: INVITATION LETTER:

In 2021 the Oasis is leading a PASTORS AND CHRISTIAN LEADERS FELLOWSHIP with those who would like to receive coaching in a group setting. We are creating a space where vocational ministers can 1) develop and enjoy rich—and safe—relationships outside their own churches and Para-church ministries, and 2) Revitalize their ministries as they devel

op healthy patterns of personal and spiritual refreshment. The fellowship will be on ZOOM on the 4th Friday of each month, beginning January 22. Here is a short video I created as an introduction: https://www.facebook.com/vocaworkshop/posts/849814802244599

Your membership in the Fellowship will include:
- Monthly encouragement videos and articles
- One personal coaching session with Dr. Studebaker (45 minutes) to review your plan.
- Tools to help you focus on their unique calling. Those who have not gone through LifeBridge or VOCA will be able to join the next Workshop, starting in early February. See www.vocaworkshop.com

The Fellowship will be an environment where ministry leaders can share their stories, release personal shame, work through struggles, etc. In doing so, you will:
1. Develop healthy accountability and prayer partnerships
2. Learn more about the Holy Spirit’s place in developing healthy, joyful ministry (I’ll provide an article I’ve written for discussion).
3. Learn how to employ spiritual disciplines, rest, and Sabbath in ministry
4. Understand the culture better and how secular worldviews affect ministry

Will you join our fellowship for 2021? I know I’m going to personally enjoy and benefit from this, even though I’ll be the “servant leader.”

This visual gives language to what many pastors feel but rarely express. If you find yourself somewhere on this chart—or even heading in that direction—take heart. Burnout (or deep fatigue) is not the end of your story.
