The Richland United Methodist Church has occupied the same corner on South Street since 1857, and the same building since 1926. Various organizations within the church serve many needs in our community, such as the Food Pantry, prayer chains, Richland United Methodist Church Community Outreach Ministry (RUMCCOM), Mission organizations for here and abroad, and many other wonderful programs. As a sm
all church we have several generations involved in all of our ministries. There always seems to be something going on around the church, and you are always welcome. Being a part of our church can mean jumping right in and getting your feet wet with missions or evangelism. It might also mean sitting in the sanctuary and enjoying the sermon. We'll take you any way you can get here. If you would prefer to stay in the background and just enjoy the fellowship that we offer, you are most welcome. If you want to help us plan the annual bazaar - you are most welcome. We simply want to extend the offer of hospitality to you. As a child of God, you belong, and we will accept you. Come and be a part of us on Sunday morning. If that doesn't work for you, try one of our other opportunities to be a part of this welcoming congregation. We have special night services, night studies called "Beginnings" and other areas that might fit your needs. If you need some information that you can't find on this site, please email us, or call us so that we can be of service. Thank you for looking at our site. We think that we have what you are looking for. Hope we see you on Sunday. If you are searching for something to fill up that empty spot that nothing else can fill, come home to Jesus. We are here, and the doors are open.
