“The Righteous Shall Live By Faith”Romans 1:8-17 will be our message this Lords Day, and it will also be Communion Sunday.
There are certain statements in Scripture that are so powerful they become pillars upon which entire generations of believers stand. Romans 1:17 contains one of those statements: “The Righteous shall live by Faith” . These five words changed history. These words ignited the Protestant Reformation through the ministry of Martin Luther. These words have comforted saints facing persecution, strengthened missionaries crossing oceans, encouraged believers through hardship, and reminded Christians throughout the centuries that our relationship with God is built not on what we do for Him, but on what He has done for us. Paul opens his heart and reveals three great truths about faith:
1. Faith Connects Us
2. Faith Compels Us
3. Faith Sustains Us
Why?
Because Faith creates a family. The church is unique. We may come from different backgrounds, cultures, economic levels, races, and experiences, but Faith in Christ unites us. Faith grows best in fellowship. Every church member has the opportunity to strengthen someone else’s Faith. A kind word. A testimony. A prayer. A handshake. A visit. Small acts often produce enormous spiritual results. If a dead battery needs charging, no amount of polishing the car will help it! The battery needs power. Humanity’s problem is not merely lack of information. Humanity needs spiritual resurrection. Only Christ can provide that. The Gospel changes addicts. The Gospel restores marriages. The Gospel heals broken hearts. The Gospel reconciles sinners to God. We are saved by Grace. You can’t earn salvation! No amount of good works or church attendance can purchase forgiveness. No amount of morality can erase guilt. Salvation comes through Faith in Jesus Christ and what He accomplished on the cross. You are invited to come Worship the Lord with us and Study His Word in Richland every Sunday morning at 9:00am and Dawson at 11:00.

Trinity Sunday is this Lords Day, May 31. My message will be “The God Who is Three in One”, from Matthew 28:16-20.
The doctrine of the Trinity is not a human invention; it is a Divine Revelation. Our Scripture declares “Baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit”. One name. Three persons. One God. The Trinity is not a puzzle to solve but a mystery to Worship. The church did not create the Trinity-the Trinity created the church.
St Augustine once saw a child trying to pour the ocean into a hole in the sand. When Augustine told him it was impossible, the child replied, “And neither can you fit the Trinity into your small mind.” The Trinity is not meant to fit into our minds- it is meant to shape them. Scripture presents the Father as the source of all things. James 1:17 calls Him “the Father of Lights”. He is not distant or detached. He is the Father who walks in the garden, who calls Abraham His friend, who carries Israel like a son, who runs to the prodigal. John 3:16 reveals that Salvation begins with the Father’s love. He loved first. He sent first. He moved first. The Father’s heart is not reluctant; it is generous. We invite you to come Worship the Lord and Study His Word with us this Sunday morning. Richland services will be at 9am and Dawson services will be at 11am. Come join us, you are welcome in the Lords House 🙌🏻🙌🏻✝️

There are moments in history when everything changes in a single day. There are days that divide history into “before” and “after”. The signing of documents, ending of wars, birth of nations, the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. And then there was Pentecost.
Acts 2 is not simply the story of a church service. It is not merely the account of emotional people having a spiritual experience. Acts 2 is the birth of something the world had never seen before. God created a new community for a new world! Before Pentecost, frightened disciples hid behind locked doors. After Pentecost, they stood boldly in the streets. Before Pentecost, they were divided by fear. After Pentecost they were united in the Spirit. Before Pentecost, they were a scattered group of followers. After Pentecost, they became the Church of Jesus Christ.
Our world desperately needs what was born in Acts 2. We live in a broken world filled with loneliness, division, hatred, confusion, addiction, despair and spiritual emptiness. People are searching for meaning everywhere except the place where God intended it to be found-in the community of believers. Come join us this Lords Day, May 24th, to be fed by the Word of God and Worship Him in Spirit and Truth. He is waiting for you and we welcome you to join us. Richland Global Methodist at 9:00am and Dawson Global Methodist 11:00am. May you have a Blessed and Joyful Memorial Weekend 🙏🏻🙇‍♀️✝️
