This Lords Day we celebrate Fathers Day. For some, this day is filled with joy and gratitude. For others, it may bring memories of loss, disappointment, or even pain. Earthly fathers come in many forms and experiences. Some have been wonderful examples of faith and love. Others have fallen short. Yet regardless of our earthly experience, Scripture points us to a Father who never fails. David, in Psalms 86, is facing difficulties. He is surrounded by trouble , opposition, and uncertainty. Yet in the midst of his struggles, he repeatedly returns to one truth: THE LORD IS GOOD. That simple statement becomes the foundation of his faith. The goodness of God is not merely something God does. It is who God is. As we celebrate fathers today, we also celebrate the greatest Father of all—the Heavenly Father whose goodness never changes. You are invited to come this Sunday and Worship with us, study Scripture and meet some new friends! We have a blessed fellowship and would welcome you to Worship with us. Richland Church starts at 9am and Dawson church starts at 11am. You are welcome. Blessings be with you and your families as you celebrate your fathers this weekend.
