We wrapped up our Esther series last weekend and remember God has the final word. Join us in a closing prayer for the series.
Heavenly Father, You have the final word. In our weakness, Your
grace is made perfect and sufficient for us. Please move in every
area of our life that feels disappointing or incomplete. Help us to see
how You’re at work in all things. In Jesus’ name, amen.

We celebrated our oldest member and the hardest working volunteer at The Mission today. Sonny Johnson turns 87 on Monday and he is still going strong. He is a faithful, humble servant of God. He connects with both young and old. If there is work to be done or a service project he is there. He sets up church every week making the coffee and greeting everyone who comes through the door and makes a connection with them. One of our kids from our kids area played a character in the Murder mystery last week as her mom who helped write it chose the character name of Sonny so she could use it. How cool is that. Leave a comment in honor and celebration of Sonny today.

We wrap up the series with a message titled Sinking in the Storm.
When you feel like you’re starting to sink in the storm, call on the name of Jesus. He’s near, and He won’t let you go down. Don’t panic and obsess over the problem, because when you sync up with Jesus, things can change just that quick.

Sometimes it does seem that way, especially when you are trying to do the right thing. Trying to act with integrity, yet others beat you down or take the credit for good things. At the end of the day , you hope to hear well done good and faithful servant..remember God sees and knows and know you are loved and cared for
