Dear Parishioners and Friends,

As you may be aware, this is the time of year for our Parish’s “Annual Stewardship Appeal”. This appeal provides us with an opportunity to help “close the gap” when it comes to our Parish finances. As you may recall from the past few years, this Appeal has now replaced the traditional “Block Collection”, but it remains a major source of annual funding to assist us on top of our normal Sunday and Holy Day collections. These remain our only major sources of funding, which assist in our Parish’s mission to “go, and make Disciples!”

On our website, you will find a summary of our Parish’s 2026-2027 Annual Budget. We have included this in a spirit of transparency to give you a sense of what we expect to spend during this current Fiscal Year, and how it compares to last year. As you know, over the past few years, we have made some major repairs and replacements, and we anticipate some major expenditures for this current Fiscal Year including a new Church Sound System and a new Church Boiler. While we are thankfully able to use some of our Parish Savings to initially cover the deposit for these projects, but we do not want to have to deplete our savings, so we will be asking for your additional support later this year to over these projects separately. I am happy to report that our Preschool is expected to cover its costs this year, and even has a waiting list for some of its classes! Additionally, we have continued to experience an increase in attendance at our Sunday Masses over the past several years. For October of 2025 we saw an average of 926 attendees at weekend Masses, which is an increase of 95 people on average just over last year! This, I believe, can be attributed to you: our friendly and welcoming parishioners, along with an increased spirit of prayer and devotion. Please help me to keep this momentum going. This is why we exist: to bring people to Christ, and there is no better encounter with the Lord and source of spiritual sustenance than the Eucharistic Liturgy!

Please consider your gift to this year’s Annual Fund to help us continue our mission. This year I am respectfully requesting a contribution of $250 per household, if possible. In past years, many have offered more, and many have offered less. Whatever you can do will be gratefully accepted. As you are aware, this collection is one of the three major sources of income which assists the parish in its mission. You may make your donation online at ParishGiving.org by clicking the link below, use the envelope that was sent to your residence by either placing it in the collection basket at any Mass, or you can mail/drop off any envelope with your donation to the parish office. Please simply write on the outside of the envelope: “Annual Fund Donation”. Whatever is most convenient for you is acceptable for us. Thank you again for all that you do, and I look forward to seeing what this next year brings us as a parish!
