08_30_26 14th Sunday after Pentecost “ From Glory to Glory: when God Elevates Faithful Church “ Joshua 3:7-17 & Ephesians 3:20-21
God leads faithful churches beyond yesterday‘s victories in the new possibilities enlarging the witness, and accomplishing through them more than they could ever ask or imagine . we cannot know everything God will do, but Ephesians gives us confidence that he is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine according to his power at work within Us . therefore, Church, this is not the time to live looking backward. We honor yesterday without leaving there. We can remember those who walk with us without believing our best days are left with them , the same spirit who empowered God’s people before us is working within us, therefore let’s look at the journey God has taken us through. We have been called from spectators towards stewards, we have learned to be faithful with little , we have discovered that we are leaving stones built together. We have been challenged to our generosity that builds generation, and now God calls us from glory to glory not because we have become strong enough to control the future, but because his power is at work with us .Thank you Rev. Dr. Mary Miriti Jackson we were all blessed ! 🙏❤️

“ Lydia, the generous hostess “
Acts 16:11-15, 40
It is at this point in Paul’s second missionary journey that we arrive at today’s lesson. It is about Lydia. Her act of hospitality serves as a faithful witnesses to the life-changing effect of the gospel ! Hospitality is essentially love in action when we show hospitality. We demonstrate our love for God and others Lydia exemplified this by providing a welcoming space for people to gather share meals, engaged in fellowship and prayer and encounter. Christ imagine Paul’s experience in Philippi without Lydius hospitality, he would have like a base for his ministry and somewhere to return to after being released from prison.
Hospitality is essentially love in action , when we show hospitality , We demonstrates our love to God and others. Lydia exemplified this by providing a welcoming space for people together, share meals, engaged in fellowship and prayer and encounter Christ .The New Testament encourages us to follow her example and extend our hospitality to others.
“God grow the church through our hospitality “
Thank you Roni about your testimony in your life the moment you felt God opening your heart for something new when you arrive at Hidden Springs appointed as an ambassador of Love and Grace to the residence on the fourth floor, where you are house ! Ate Edar gave practical examples of an intentional welcoming, and serving others both in our church and in our neighborhood.
Elena shared her story when they face trials of their faith when their house was burned in the Philippines ! All their belongings were lost, but their church members provided all new things for them instead !
Vic on the other hand, explained how hospitality can be an act of serving Christ himself. He said “ what you have done to the least of these my brother you have done it unto me “ Mathew 25:34-40
Thank you, heavenly father for Lydia, example of faithfulness and hospitality. We asked that your spirit transformed our hearts so that we may be hospitable People , strengthen us to be willing to open our hearts and homes to welcome others even strangers.

Thank you Ate Edar for praying our prayer lists ! 🙏❤️

Thank you, ate Helen for being our leader today and also for providing the sumptuously prepared lunch today ! Ivan those drinks are wonderful ! 🙏❤️

O8_16_26 The Agape SS lesson
“ Saul of Tarsus, the unlikely Apostle “ Acts : 3-15

We were able to retell Paul’s encounter with Jesus and the call for us to be Christ’s witness in this world. We compared the motivations of Paul’s zeal before, and after encountering Jesus, we learned about the true meaning of zealous.
The word zealous conveys an image of a fiery and passionate commitment to a cause !
We brainstorm possibilities why Paul was chosen by God !
We cited visible signs of Paul’s character before & after his encounter with Jesus! 🙏❤️
God continue to call his people to align their lives with his path revealed through his word , through this alignment God’s spirit transforms our lives to serve God, as a result, we become agents of the gospel in the world Paul’s encounter with the Risen Jesus was the first step in incorporating him into Christ body the church. Our individual stories are part of a larger narrative. Let us reflect on our personal life stories in light of what God has done for us so that may all edify others and glorify him.

Thank you Elena Alvaran for leading our study today ! We were all blessed ! 🙏❤️

Thank you Joe & Ellen Palaganas for the sumptuous lunch you provided for all of us !

See you all next week ! Come join us ! 🙏❤️
