Community Bible Study - North Dallas Richardson EVE

The Dallas Evening CBS class was established in 2001 for the express purpose of providing a study available to men, women, couples and children. We have families, singles, married couples, divorced and widowed. We are all seeking to know Jesus more and grow in our love for Him. Here’s what you can expect at an adult Bible study:
Classes typically meet once a week for about one-and-half hours in to

tal, over the course of roughly 30 weeks. The study materials you’ll be given contain questions that relate to what’s being studied. Each week you’ll read and answer these questions prior to attending the class. On class day you’ll meet with your discussion group, or core group, to discuss the lesson. Each core group has about 15 people in it, and is facilitated by a trained leader. This is followed by a 15-30 minute large group teaching given by a trained Teaching Director. These teachings, and the written professional commentary that you take home, offer additional insights into the week’s passage. You’ll be challenged to apply what you’ve learned to your daily life. Once-a- month fellowship meals for core groups are incorporated into your class time. These special times of sharing are designed to build relationships between group members. Our class also offers a children’s program alongside the adult class. Because our Primary/Junior classes use a modified version of the adult curriculum that parallels the adult study, moms and dads and their kids can enjoy discussing the lessons learned from each week’s study. We seek to provide a nurturing place where children can grow and develop spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically and socially. We love seeing what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word. Together we explore the Bible and what it tells us about the God who has woven a story through history and is present with us now.
