Solace Ministries International, Inc. Solace Ministries International, Inc. is an Apostolic/ Evangelistic, non-profit and charitable Christian Organization. Rev. 22:2. OUR HISTORY. Amen !!

Our vision: "...taking HEALING to the NATIONS" Spirit, Soul, Body and Mind. To care for those who are in want by providing basic needs; food, shelter and clothing, teaching basic Christian doctrine as given in the Bible in simplicity and understanding and let the world know the love of God expressed through His son Jesus Christ on Calvary is still available. In 1982, what started as a family singi

ng group made up of our Late Mom Lonica Mkubwa, Ebbie, Nick, Jane ''Alivitsa'' Okola, Joy and Solomon was first known ''Anointing Singers''. Our Dad, Bishop Sam Mkubwa is the one who gave the name to the family singing group. Every time the Anointing Singers ministered, there was such an anointing that people would start to cry. Usually, the Anointing Singers would minister in songs on most Sunday evening services at Bahati Social Hall just before Dad, Bishop Mkubwa came to preach. After Mom went to be with the Lord in September of 1985, the Anointing Singers dwindled a bit from the loss of a key member and mom of the family. We didn't sing as a group for almost six months. After that period of mourning, the group re- organized and invited other talents to come on board. After this time, Edward Oyieri, JT Owade and Eunice Wandia Kinyanjui came on board to join Ebbie, Nick and Jane Alivitsa. The young members of the Anointing Singers started singing with '' Children's Choir'' or as was known at that time '' Choir ya Watoto ''under the leadership of Brother Owade. In this group was Miriam Mkubwa, Benjamin, Purity, Eunice of mama Asha and Solomon Mkubwa. In 1986, the ASs adopted the name '' The Six'' because of its six member group. They sang and ministered together not just at Assemblies of Christ but also in Colleges and Schools as the Lord opened the doors. In the Summer of 1987, ''The Six'' once again lost a key mdmber of its group when Eunice Wandia Kinyanjui went to be with the Lord. The group sang at her Funeral and after going through a healing time, started accepting other talented singers to join. At this time the younger Mkubwa singers were no longer little, and had demonstrated clearly that they could perform and sing and even play musical instruments at a high level. It was about this time in 1987 that Joy Mkubwa Thomas and Solomon Mkubwa came on board full time and so there was a need to change the name from ''Six'' since the group was no longer limited to #6. In 1988 after alot of brainstorming with all the members at the time, Nixon's suggestion to call the group ''SOLACE ''was adopted which means ''to bring comfort ,consolation ,support or relief '' to hurting people. All along, the Anointing Singers ,The Six and now Solace Singers Int'l were and are still known for ministering to people to the point of tears. The people have always been touched by our music and singing and that's why the group always strives to seek young talented singers who love and enjoy contemporary gospel music and are not ashamed to express themselves in song. The group always strives for Excellence in music, not just in performing but in ministering. On or about this time late 1988, Florence Amuguni, a very talented singer also joined the group and we had the opportunity to do the ''Easter Cantata'' together in Easter of 1989. Miriam, Emmanuel, Susan, Morris, Joshua, Nancy, Priscilla, Tabitha and Pauline who used to sing in the Children's choir got on board in 1993. This made the group effective and stable. In January of 1994 Joy ''Mkubwa'' Thomas, one of the key members left Kenya for U.S for further studies. In the summer of the same year, the leader and current director of the group, Minister Solomon Mkubwa also left for U.S as he passed on the mantle to Emmanuel Mkubwa after taking Solace Singers Int'l to greater heights. Since then Emmanuel has been leading the group as many more members as Marsha, Charles, Kaloki, Philip, Damaris, Jerusha, Ann and many others joined the group. Through it all, God has been faithful as He's been opening doors for Solace to minister in schools, Colleges, International Conferences, Crusades and different Churches. By the grace of God, Solace has stepped out and ministered to different Nations of Africa like Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and S.Africa. Netherlands and Germany in Europe and U.S.A. From this Missions trips, God has raised up different ministers from within us as Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers of the Word, Prophets and Intercessors. We believe God even as the Solace Ministries International is Launched this 20th day of March, the year of our Lord 2005, God is going to open more doors to the Nations for his glory. This far the Lord has brought us, to Him be blessing and glory, Dominion and Power forever and ever.

DAY 2 OF 21 DAYS PRAYER & FASTING.

Psalm 5:1-5 " Give ear to my words, O LORD; consider my groaning. Give attention to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to you do I pray. O LORD, in the morning you hear my voice; in the morning I prepare a sacrifice for you and watch. For you are not a God who delights in wickedness; evil may not dwell with you. The boastful shall not stand before your eyes; you hate all evildoers"

This morning we focused on our hearts posture and unity of purpose as the body of Christ. If there is anything the Lord requires from us when we come before Him is a genuine heart. King David understood God does not delight in wickedness. No-wander he cried out to God in Psalm 51:10 "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me." Jeremiah 17:9 "The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is?"

With God, it's either ALL or NOTHING. There is no gray area. God wants us to trust him with ALL our heart, Proverbs 3:5, to be able to experience the supernatural.

Pure clean hearts lead to a unified body of Christ that our enemy who is Satan can't do us no harm. Strive to keep your heart clean from all evil.

Join us tomorrow at 6 am CST as we continue seeking God's face.

DAY 1 OF 21 DAYS OF PRAYER & FASTING.

THANKSGIVING.

The year 2020 has been an interesting year. It's been a trying year, to some it's been the most difficult one. Some have lost lives, others their jobs and business... In spite of it all, we are dedicating this first day to Thank God.

Jeremiah 30:19 "There will be joy and songs of thanksgiving, and I will multiply my people, not diminish them; I will honor them, not despise them."

Thanksgiving will cause us to multiply. Thanksgiving will cause us to be honored.

Luke 17:12-17 "As he entered a village there, ten men with leprosy stood at a distance, 13 crying out, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” 14 He looked at them and said, “Go show yourselves to the priests.”b And as they went, they were cleansed of their leprosy. 15 One of them, when he saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus, shouting, “Praise God!” 16 He fell to the ground at Jesus’ feet, thanking him for what he had done. This man was a Samaritan. 17 Jesus asked, “Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine? 18 Has no one returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” 19 And Jesus said to the man, “Stand up and go. Your faith has healed you."

In Bible days, if one had leprosy, they were isolated. In the year 2020, this scripture came alive. We experienced "Quarantine" and "lockdown". Corona virus caused a lot of isolation. This Samaritan men knew where the power was, in the name of Jesus. They called Him and were healed but only one came back to thank God.

Today, we take this moment to say "thank you Jesus" for healing us. We thank God that many of us never got sick. It's not because we ate organic food or because our immune system was strong but only by God's grace.

We are coming back like the Samaritan man and scream "Thank you Jesus".

Philippians 4:6 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."

As we start the year 2021, let's throw away any anxiety and pray as we give thanks.

Please take a moment and thank God for all He has done. He has been faithful even when we were not. I want you to begin to reflect on His goodness and helping us cross over to 2021.

Join us again tomorrow at 6am CST on conference call 952 777 2114 as we continue praying.

We ask people not only to pray but fast. Deny your flesh something that you love. Fasting doesn't change God but changes us, it makes our spirit a king, the Soul a servant and the body a slave.

You can choose to fast foods and/or drinks that your flesh love for 21 days. Let the Holy Spirit lead you.

This is the word that God is giving us for 2021. This will be our theme that is coming through prophesy that God gave our Pastor.

Obadiah 1:17 "But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions."

Three things that will happen this year.

*Deliverance
*Holiness
*Possession.

Stay tuned...

Shalom!

In this unprecedented time, the best we can do for one another is show love in every way possible. As a family of faith, we are obligated to love our neighbors as ourselves, not just in bad times but ALL the time. In the last two years, we've partnered with PANERA BREAD to be a blessing to our community. We continue to do the same as long as we can. Regardless of who you are, where you're from or what you do, you are invited to benefit from this initiative. No requirements. JUST SHOW UP with your bag!

This and every Friday between 5 pm - 6 pm, come and get some fresh bread for you and your family. If you know anyone in need, please share this info with them. This is a first come, first served while they last. For more info, please contact us..

Lastly, know that we are praying for you. This too shall pass. Thank you and God bless!

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in," Matthew 25:35.
