Restoration Anglican Church

Restoration Anglican Church An Anglican church for North Dallas on a mission to join God in the Restoration of all things.

Restoration is a young Anglican church in the North Dallas area with a vision to join God in his mission to restore our lives, our church, and our city through the good news of Jesus Christ. We are shaped by the word and sacraments shared by generations of faithful followers of Jesus, a commitment to love an imperfect church by living in community with others, and a mission to see God renew our city.

Restoration Family,

We will not meet in person for worship this Sunday due to anticipated inclement weather and dangerous road conditions. All NextGen Ministry events are postponed as well.

We invite you to worship at home this Sunday. On our website we will share a liturgy for prayer and worship that you can use in your household and a message from Jed. These materials will be available on Sunday. Stay warm and we hope to see you the following Sunday!

Holy Week was a beautiful commemoration on of the final days of Jesus leading to his death on the cross. Restoration shared a meal and remembered the Last Supper. We told the story of Jesus' final hours as the Light of the World dimmed in a Tenebrae service. And we listened to Hayden's Seven Last Words of Christ performed by Texas Cellos with original poetry by the Rev. Kolby Kerr.

Blessings to all who joined in the journey of Holy Week.

Almighty God, you have created us from the dust of the earth: grant that these ashes may be for us a symbol of our mortality and a sign of our penitence, that we may remember that it is by your grace alone that we receive the gift of eternal life in Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.
