Charles Raford Binion, God’s favorite son as daddy would say met his Lord and Savior on January, 11th, 2023. Charles was born on December 29th, 1934 in Anna, Texas to Jesse Willard and Dixie Mae Binion. Charles joined the Navy on April, 16, 1952 and served until December 8th, 1955.

Charles was a Christian who with his wife Roxanne were members of the One Hope Church in McKinney, Texas. “Amen Charlie” could adjust your spine with his bear hugs and you never doubted his love for his friends and family.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 20th, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at Scoggins Funeral Home in Van Alstyne, Texas. It will be officiated by his pastor Eric Hollar.

We thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. “He sure did love you!”

It’s a busy week at One Hope!

WEDNESDAY: There is NO 1st Wednesday this week, so join your small group instead!

THURSDAY: our Dallas campus is hosting a Young Life Taco Fundraiser! It’s free, so come by 6:30PM to see how our ministry partner is impacting lives in Oak Cliff!

SATURDAY: our Food Distribution team is serving the Oak Cliff community from 9AM-12PM. Join our Dream Team by simply showing up @ 9AM with a smile to serve!

We had such a great time this morning ministering to those experiencing homelessness. So many wonderful God encounters! Thank you to everyone who came out and served and to everyone who gave toward the luggage bags! We were able to bless so many people today and they were very grateful for your generosity!

Our mission focus this month has been to sow into Emmanuel and Roxanna Biro, leaders of Healthy Smiles Romania. They are helping impoverished children in Romania receive critical dental work, many of whom have never visited the dentist.
