“Even if you don’t live near an ocean, there are several things you can do to reduce marine waste. Litter contributes to all of this ocean debris; it washes off into creeks and gets caught in stormwater and catch basins and ends up in rivers that flow into large bodies of water—not only is it an eyesore it’s a human health problem as well. Anyone can organize a community litter cleanup.” — Millicent Pitts, CEO and Executive Director, Ocean Exchange

🕊️In all your efforts, therefore, continue to trust in my grace and respond in love to the leadings of my Spirit. If you will come before me in unity and love I will bless you with a great outpouring of compassion, both for one another and for the world into which you are sent. Amen

Should the church uphold inherited rules that exclude people from full participation? Acts 8 suggests that welcoming those once considered unworthy is not new for Christians.

Our exploration of Acts continues with the story of a wealthy African eu**ch who had been excluded from full participation in the faith. Join us as we reflect on how we should ideally be living out the new covenant in the 21st century.

This will be a hybrid service. Join us via live video as usual or in person at: 320 Richmond Street East, Suite 101, Toronto, ON M5A 1P9.

We will share communion 🍞🍇 with all those participating live from around the world 🌏

The Peace Pavilion focuses on providing experiential peace education lessons to all, so as of this month, the museum is participating in the national ‘Museums for All’ access program. This program will help the Pavilion offer reduced individual admission fees of $4.00 to up to four low-income individuals and families presenting a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card, and a valid form of photo ID.

Here’s to championing equal access for families with limited incomes, building lifelong museum habits, and providing welcome and support to all community members!
