At Illumination Station VBS this week, kids have been learning about missionaries’ efforts in Wyoming and Kenya to show people that Jesus is the Light of the World.

Boys and girls have learned how they can be a light for Jesus within their own communities. This years’ mission project will help kids in the foster care system. VBS kids have been encouraged to donate new items to the Isaiah 117 House Monroe-McMinn, a local ministry that cares for these vulnerable children.

We realize it has been a crazy week, so if you haven’t had an opportunity to bring your items, you can bring those tonight to VBS Family Night! There is a donation box to place your items located on the desk as you come in the front door.

A few items that the Isaiah 117 House is currently in the greatest need of are listed below.

1. Walmart Gift Cards: $5 or more

2. Clorox Disinfecting Wipes

3. Individually Wrapped Candy

Join us tomorrow at 6PM for our VBS closing celebration! This is a night for parents to see what your kids have been learning at VBS at Eastanallee!

VBS Family Night is designed for the whole family to enjoy together! There will be no VBS classes tomorrow. For the safety of our children, this is not a drop-off event. Please plan to stay and join in the fun!

You will experience a VBS Worship Rally including a slideshow of ALL the fun that has taken place this week! You will also get to hear from our new Children’s Ministry Director, Ryan Armstrong! Our Worship Rally will be followed by a hot dog dinner for the whole family, AND if the kids meet their offering goal for the week, they will have the pleasure of seeing Mr. Ryan and/or Mrs. Jackie get a pie to the face!

Our offering this year will fund the packing of Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes that will be shipped worldwide to share the Gospel of Jesus! We are so grateful to be a part of this incredible ministry!

Shining a Light on Who Jesus Really Is!

Kids are invited to Illumination Station VBS for the brightest week of the year! While many people claim to know about Jesus, many are in the dark about who He really is. Some might see Jesus as just a person from history, a good man, or a wise teacher but He is much more than that.

At Illumination Station VBS, kids will be challenged to answer Jesus' important question to His disciples, "Who do you say that I am?" As they explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals, kids will discover that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world.

Jesus spoke to them again: "I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life." John 8:12

VBS is open to children aged 3 years through 5th Grade (just completed).

SUNDAY-WEDNESDAY
Dinner: 5PM
VBS: 6PM

THURSDAY
