🎉✨ Day 21 – FINAL DAY of the Daniel Fast! ✨🎉

Today is a powerful milestone—our final day of fasting, and our fast will officially end at sunset. 🙌🏾

Our theme for today is “A New Beginning.” We read from Philippians 1:6:

“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Congratulations, family!
You did it. You stayed committed. You prayed. You fasted. You fought through moments of weakness, and you chose obedience over comfort.

But this is not the end—it’s just the beginning.

God has sharpened your spirit, strengthened your discipline, and deepened your spiritual hearing. Now it’s time to walk boldly in the steps He’s ordered for you. The same God who led Daniel through the lion’s den is guiding you into your next assignment.

✨ Step forward in faith and obedience. Revival begins with YOU.

As you transition back into regular eating, do it prayerfully and intentionally. Let the fast be a lifestyle—not a season. Continue the spiritual disciplines you’ve built during these 21 days:
• prayer
• scripture meditation
• worship
• and daily surrender

This is a lifestyle of hearing and obedience.

Thank you for fasting with us. God is not done with you yet. 💛🙌🏾

🌿✨ Daniel Fast: Spiritual Growth + Health Benefits ✨🌿

One thing I’ve learned during this fast is that weight loss isn’t the goal — but it can be a powerful bonus. Our main focus is spiritual renewal, drawing closer to God, and strengthening our relationship with Him through prayer and fasting.

But when we eat the way God designed — simple, clean, and natural — our bodies naturally respond. When we choose whole foods instead of processed foods, we reduce inflammation, improve energy, and support overall health. And yes… sometimes that means the scale starts moving too. 😊

The Bible shows us that food is meant for life and healing, not just pleasure or convenience:

🌿 Ezekiel 47:12 – fruit and leaves for healing
🌱 Genesis 1:29 – plants for nourishment
📖 Proverbs 4:20-22 – God’s Word brings health to the body
🥗 Daniel 1:8-20 – vegetables proved healthier than rich foods
🏛️ 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 – our bodies are God’s temple
🌾 Psalm 104:14-15 & Isaiah 38:21 – God provides food and healing herbs

This fast is teaching us to eat with intention, honor our bodies, and trust God as our Provider — even in the foods we choose.

✨ If you’ve noticed weight loss or better health during this fast, share your testimony below!
Let’s encourage each other and celebrate the way God is working in our bodies AND our spirits. 🙌🏾💛

🌿✨ Day 19 – Rest in God’s Presence ✨🌿

Today marks the last weekday morning prayer call of our 21-Day Daniel Fast, and our theme is “Rest in God’s Presence.”

We read from Exodus 33:14, where God tells Moses:

“My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

Daniel faced intense pressure, yet he maintained a posture of peace because he lived in God’s presence. The fast reminds us that rest isn’t just physical—it’s spiritual. True rest is knowing God is with you, even in the middle of the battle.

Ephesians 6:10-18 reminds us to put on the full armor of God so we can stand firm against every attack.

📌 Today’s practical reminder:
Take a quiet walk, or find a moment to sit in silence and reflect. Let God’s presence restore your soul.

🙏🏾 Thank God for being near—even when you feel overwhelmed, anxious, or tired. He is with you.

You don’t have to carry it alone. Rest in Him. 💛

Has anyone tried the spelt flatbread recipe in the back of the Daniel Fast workbook? It has no leavening agents like the breads in the grocery store, but it’s a good, simple alternative when you’re on the Daniel Fast. Just spelt flour, olive oil, salt, and water. This bread can be flattened and cooked on the stovetop or baked in the oven. Have you tried this recipe? Do you know of any other Daniel Fast friendly bread alternatives?

💪🏾✨ Day 18 of the Daniel Fast – Faith Over Feelings ✨💪🏾

Today on the prayer call, we leaned into the theme Faith Over Feelings, grounded in 2 Corinthians 5:7:
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

We were reminded that feelings fluctuate, but faith remains steady. During a fast, emotions can run high—fatigue, irritability, doubt—but that’s often a sign that your faith muscle is growing. Faith means trusting God even when you don’t feel His presence. It’s not about how you feel—it’s about who you believe.

🪞 Take a moment to reflect:
• When have you obeyed God even while feeling uncertain?
• Is there a situation in your life right now that requires faith instead of feelings?

One more powerful reminder comes from Hebrews 11:1:
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Let’s keep feeding our faith—stay in the Word, stay prayerful, and surround yourself with encouragement. What you focus on grows, so choose faith today. God is working, even when your feelings say otherwise. 🙏🏾✨

🥣✨ Daniel Fast Smoothie Bowl✨🥣

Smoothies don’t have to be boring—especially on the Daniel Fast! You can turn a simple smoothie into a filling, delicious, and satisfying smoothie bowl by adding your favorite Daniel Fast-friendly toppings.

Here are some tasty ideas to make your bowl even better:

🍓 Extra fruit (berries, banana, mango, etc.)
🌾 Kamut puffs for crunch
🌰 Walnuts for healthy fats and staying power

✨ Pro tip: Start with a base of frozen fruit + almond milk, blend, and then add toppings to make it extra filling.

What toppings are you adding to your smoothie bowl today? Drop your favorites in the comments! 🙌🏾💛
