Reflection for the Week Ahead
God's call is more than a single moment—it is a lifelong journey of
faith. Moses encounters God in the ordinary and discovers that
God has extraordinary plans. Paul encourages believers to live
with genuine love, humility, and perseverance. Jesus reminds His
disciples that following Him means trusting God even when the
path is challenging. This week, listen for God's voice in the
ordinary moments of your day. You may discover that God is
inviting you to take the next faithful step in your own journey of
discipleship.

Reflection Questions & Scripture for the coming week:

Exodus 1:8–2:10
When have you recognized God's protection or guidance in your life, perhaps only after looking back?

Psalm 124
What is one challenge God has helped you through that reminds you to give thanks today?

Romans 12:1–8
What gifts has God entrusted to you, and how might you use them to serve others this week?

Matthew 16:13–20
If someone asked you, "Who is Jesus to you?" how would you answer from your own experience of faith?

If you want to discuss your responses further or struggle with any of them, please feel free to consult with me. I would enjoy helping you find depth and meaning in these scriptures and how they relate to you, your faith journey, and God's desire for your life.

Blessings,
Pastor Deb

Reflection for the Week Ahead
God's grace does more than comfort us—it calls us forward. Throughout Scripture, we see God working through ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary purposes. Moses is protected before he can even understand God's plan. Peter boldly declares who Jesus is, and Paul reminds us that each of us has unique gifts to offer in Christ's service. As you journey through this week, consider how God has been at work in your own life and where God may now be calling you to step forward in faith. The same God who has guided generations before us continues to lead and equip us today.

Psalm 133
How can you help nurture peace, unity, and encouragement within your family, church, or community?

Romans 11:1–2a, 29–32
How have you experienced God's mercy, even when you felt undeserving, and how might that shape the way you treat others?

Matthew 15: 21–28
When have you seen God's love reach beyond your expectations, and how might God be calling you to welcome others with that same openness?

Reflection for the Week Ahead
God's grace has a way of reaching beyond the walls we build and the hurts we carry. Joseph chooses forgiveness over revenge, families are restored, and unity becomes a blessing. Jesus reminds us that God's mercy is not limited by background, status, or expectations—it is offered to all who seek Him in faith. As you move through this week, consider where God may be inviting you to extend compassion, seek reconciliation, or welcome someone with the same grace that Christ has shown you.

Reflection Questions & Scripture for the coming week:

Genesis 37:1-4, 12-28
Have you ever experienced a time when a painful situation later became part of God's greater purpose in your life?

Psalm 105:1-6, 16-22, 45b
How has remembering God's faithfulness in the past helped you trust God in the present?

Romans 10:5-15
Who first shared God's love with you, and how might God be inviting you to share that hope with someone else?

Matthew 14:22-33
What "storm" in your life is inviting you to trust Jesus more deeply, even if you cannot yet see the way forward?

If you want to discuss your responses further or have trouble with any of them, please feel free to consult with me. I would enjoy helping you find depth and meaning in these scriptures and how they relate to you, your faith journey, and God's desire for your life.
