What does it look like to stand strong when life feels like a battle? In our new series, Armor of God, we journey through Ephesians 6:10–17 and discover how God equips us to stand firm against the schemes of the enemy.
In this first message, we look at three essential pieces of the armor: the Belt of Truth, the Breastplate of Righteousness, and the Shoes of Peace. We’ll discover why truth matters in a world filled with deception, how righteousness guards our hearts, and what it means to walk into every situation carrying the peace of God.
Jesus reminds us that the enemy is a liar, but God calls us to live anchored in truth. The battle is real—but God has not left us defenseless. He has given us everything we need to stand firm, walk in truth, guard our hearts, and carry His peace.

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS ARE BACK!
Starting August 19th, we’re gathering again for a night filled with worship, fellowship, laughter, and the Word of God! Join us as we dive into a study through the Gospel of John, taking time to discover more about Jesus and what it means to follow Him. And there’s something NEW happening for our kids and youth! Our Youth Group is kicking off, and our younger boys will have a special class taught by Pastor Mark and Alfonso, while our younger girls will have a class taught by Damaris and Gwen. We’re creating a place where every generation can grow in faith, build meaningful friendships, and experience the love of Jesus together.
Come early, grab some dinner, bring your family and a friend, and stay awhile! There will be plenty of food, plenty of laughs, great fellowship, and most importantly, an opportunity to grow deeper in God’s Word. Wednesday nights are a place to connect, grow, and encounter Jesus—and we can’t wait to see you there!

What do you do when you're exhausted, overwhelmed, anxious, or ready to give up?
Even one of God's greatest prophets, Elijah, experienced fear, isolation, and deep discouragement. Today we dive in to 1 Kings 19, and we discover that God doesn't abandon us in our lowest moments—He meets us there. Through Elijah's story, we see a God who provides rest, speaks with compassion, renews our strength, and reminds us that we are never alone.

This was so much more than a backpack giveaway—it was a day of showing the love of Jesus in practical ways.
A HUGE thank you to every volunteer who gave their time, energy, and heart to serve. Because of you, 100 backpacks were packed for foster youth at a local high school, and around 300 students in our community were blessed with backpacks, school supplies! We were so blessed to also be able to give free haircuts to so many, thanks to our 3 incredible barbers!
To everyone who stopped by—thank you for allowing us to serve you. We pray you left knowing that you are seen, valued, and loved.
A special thank you to for spending the morning with us and continuing to invest in our community. Your presence helped make the day even more meaningful and reminded us that when churches, first responders, and neighbors come together, our community grows stronger.
This is what community looks like.
This is what serving looks like.
This is what the love of Christ looks like.
We’re grateful for every smile, every conversation, and every life that was touched today.

What an AMAZING week at Son Treasure Island VBS!
From exciting adventures and unforgettable games to worship, learning that love never fails and serving our community by making blessing kits for those in need—God moved in incredible ways! Thank you to every volunteer, parent, and brave explorer who made this week so special.

Day 2 at Son Treasure Island was another incredible adventure!
Today our young explorers had a blast with more games, laughter, and teamwork! They also put their faith into action by assembling care kits that will be shared with those experiencing homelessness—because God's love isn't just something we talk about, it's something we live out loud.
And the adventure keeps getting better! Our brave crew finally found Jefe the Llama and managed to get the compass back from that peg-legged pirate from Pasadena! But the biggest question remains...
Who will reach the treasure first?

VBS Day 1 is in the books, and what an AMAZING start to Son Treasure Island!
Our young adventures discovered that God's love is PATIENT and KIND (1 Corinthians 13:4), and we saw that truth come alive through worship, games, service projects, Bible lessons, and lots of laughter!
One of the highlights of the day was serving others by creating special gifts for the residents at Merrill Gardens. Even our youngest pirates learned that God's love isn't just something we receive—it's something we share!
But the biggest mystery remains...
Where is Jefe the lost llama?! And will Pedro the Peg-Legged Pirate from Pasadena find the hidden treasure before Sally T? The adventure is just beginning, and we can't wait to see what happens next!
Thank you to all of our incredible volunteers, families, and kids who made Day 1 unforgettable. We can't wait to set sail again tomorrow!
