What do we do when God calls us to something that feels bigger than what we think we're capable of?

In Exodus 3–4, we see Moses standing before the burning bush, offering excuse after excuse for why he couldn’t go to Pharaoh. But God never asked Moses to do it in his own strength.

Sometimes our response to God’s calling is simply:

“I can’t. But You can. Therefore, I will.”

Because God is sovereign, we can trust Him even when we feel inadequate. Whatever He is calling us to, may we have eyes to see the opportunities He puts before us, hearts that are sensitive to His voice, and the boldness to say yes.

May we never be so focused on what we can’t do that we miss what God can do through us.

Hey Fairview Church! We’re excited to share an upcoming community event hosted by Wise Choices Pregnancy Center! The Pumpkin Spice for LIFE 5K is a fun, family-friendly morning supporting the work of Wise Choices as they provide compassionate, practical support to women, men, and families in our community.

There are lots of ways to get involved: run, walk, bring the kids for the Tot Trot, support the Kid Vendor Market, create a fundraising page, or volunteer!

Fairview family, we’d especially love to see some of you serving as volunteers at this event! It’s a great opportunity to be part of our community, encourage families, and support a local organization serving those who need hope and practical help.

Check out the flyer for all the details and information on how to register or volunteer!

Let’s show up and serve our community together! 🧡🎃

In Genesis 40–41, we see Joseph’s story continue as God uses dreams, unexpected circumstances, and a long season of waiting to accomplish His purposes. What may have seemed like delays and disappointments were actually part of God’s bigger plan.

Sometimes we may not understand what God is doing in the moment, but we can trust that He does.

Whatever season you find yourself in today, remember that God is still working, even in the waiting.

We want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you for spending your Sunday packing up the church building as we prepared for our move.

We all know that the Church isn’t a building, but it’s a body of believers. We are so glad for each and every part of our Church family.

Praying over our move to our new “tent” as we continue to go where the Lord leads us.

Fairview Church,

We have just ONE WEEK left in our current building.

And while we’re thankful for the memories, the moments, the worship, the laughter, the prayers, and everything God has done here, we’re reminded of something even more important:

The building doesn’t make the church. The people do.

The church has never been about four walls. It’s about people gathering together to love God, love people, and live out His purpose.

So let’s make this last week in our current building one to remember. Let’s worship a little louder, love a little deeper, and thank God for every moment He has given us here.

Because wherever we gather, we are the church.
