Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance of Columbus And Vicinity Columbus, Ohio's Oldest and Longest Serving Ministerial Alliance. Purpose

1. Addressing issues and concerns not adequately addressed in other organizations.

Foster fellowship and create a community of faith reflecting sound doctrine and Bible-Based principles.
2. Analyze issues of the local community, the state, the state and the world that challenge our faith.
3. Encourage a Christian Plan of Action which assists humanity in moving toward a world where love, joy,
peace, justice, liberty and equality are realized and God is glorified.
4. Goals

The goal and objective of the organization are to bring about a visible oneness by which a diversity of persons,gifts and understandings are brought together as an important sign of the unity of God's ministers. As the Bible speaks of one body, which is the Church living under the One Spirit of God known through Christ, it reminds us that we have One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism, One God and Father of us all (Ephesians 4:5-6)


Membership Eligibility
(I.M.A. Constitution and By-Laws Handbook)


Section 1. Prospective members must be ordained or licensed as clergy in good standing of a Christian Church of the Columbus, Ohio area. Honorary membership maybe given 2 Retired or disabled clergy in central Ohio area. Non-voting associate members may be given to students in area theological seminaries. Section 2. Prospective members she'll pay annual membership dues at the time of acceptance and in the amount approved by the body or as specified in the by-laws. Such dues Shelby on a prorated basis for a partial year until the beginning of the next fiscal year. After a one-time partial year membership, at the beginning of the preceding fiscal year and the end of a specified period of Grace, the full amount of the annual dues she'll be paid as a prerequisite to maintain membership rights and benefits. Section 3. All members must reside and work within a 100-mile radius of Columbus, Ohio to retain membership eligibility.
