Prayer strengthens us in anxious times. Which of these steps do you need most this week?

As most of you who have anxiety know, it’s hard to sit still and just be. When I pray, I struggle to sit and listen afterwards. “Prayer is a two way conversation”. We are meant to not only talk to God in prayer, but listen to Him in prayer as well. Sometimes this is a voice in your head, a physical feeling, or recognization later on during a simple moment or when reading your scriptures.

I’ve recently struggled to connect with God. I’ve spent many prayers in frustration, sadness, and confused. But during those prayers it was a one way conversation. I wasn’t giving God time to respond. Something my sister taught me was as she prays, she has her journal open one to her, and as she speaks or asks a question she’ll pause every now and then and write down whatever comes to her. This week, I am striving to open my ears and my heart to Him so He can respond.

Anxiety can feel overwhelming. I would know! It’s a nervous energy that never shuts off. Thoughts racing million miles an hour, bouncing from one “what if” to the next, making hard to focus on anyone or anything in front of you.

Hang in there. God is always watching over you. He eats you to talk to Him. It doesn’t have to be perfect, just open your heart. ❤️

If you are going through something tough, and need a helping hand, don’t hesitate to reach out to those that love you🫶🏼

Happy birthday to our dear Prophet, President Nelson! He turns 100 today!🥳

“The most important prophet, so far as we are concerned, is the one who is living in our day and age. This is the prophet who has today’s instructions from God to us. God’s revelation to Adam did not instruct Noah how to build the ark. Every generation has need of the ancient scripture, plus the current scripture from the living prophet. Therefore, the most crucial reading and pondering that you should do is of the latest inspired words from the Lord’s mouthpiece. That is why it is essential that you have access to and carefully read his words.”

“Living a life of integrity requires us to be true to God, to each other, and to our divine identity.”

Do you live a life of Integrity? How can we strive to live a life of integrity?

“May we reconcile ourselves “to the will of God” and develop the Christlike attribute of integrity. May we follow our Exemplar, the Savior of the world, and not shrink but live a life that is true to God, to each other, and to our divine identity.

As Job said, “Let me be weighed in an even balance, that God may know mine integrity.” In the sacred name of Jesus Christ, amen.”
