We are planning a YSA 2nd Stake float trip for August 1st from 5:00 to 8:00.
We will be meeting at the grass area next to the Fun Farm Bridge just north of St. Anthony. The stake will be renting from BYUI multiple float tubes. Please bring any personal kayaks or canoes. The river is shallow enough that a person can stand up at any time during the 35 minute float trip. Those floating the river will exit on the left-hand side of the river just before the Fun Farm Bridge. We will be providing hot dogs, watermelon, chips, cookies and drinks.
Additional items you might consider bringing is lawn chairs, bug spray, sun screen and lawn games. Each student should wear clothing and shoes they can get wet in and bring a towel to dry off with. We encourage people to leave their electronic devices on the shore or at home. We want the last trip down the river to begin around 7:30 so we can get everyone off the river before it starts getting dark.
