02/25/2023
Our next ward temple day is tonight, February 25, 2023! I expect several members will be at the 7:00 pm endowment session, though there will be members of our ward at other sessions throughout the day. What matters most is attending the temple, not the specific time you attend. It will be a busy day at the temple tomorrow, but if you don't yet have a reservation there are still ~5 slots available at both the 5 and 6 pm sessions.
If you would like to carpool to the 7:00 pm session tomorrow please email me back and I will help arrange those logistics for anyone that would like some company and / or would prefer not to drive after dark.
If you're unable to attend tomorrow, don't fret! Please consider this message an invitation to make sure you have a reservation to attend at some future time convenient for you. If you don't have a temple recommend, consider reserving time in your life to prepare to receive one-- you can speak with a member of the bishopric or your ministering brother or sister if you have questions about how to prepare for a temple recommend.
President Nelson has promised that "increased time in the temple will bless your life in ways nothing else can." Please reserve time in your life to claim those blessings with whatever frequency you can muster!
Hope to see you at the temple soon!
Love,
Ben Wanamaker
We will hold a ward temple day on Saturday, February 25, 7:00 pm endowment session. Please make a reservation soon-- there are currently 43 seats available in this session.
Carpool options will be available for those who prefer not to drive alone or after dark. If you are unable to attend at that time, consider attending another time that day-- the most important part of ward temple day is spending more time in the temple, regardless of the session or specific ordinance.
Joining ward temple day is a great way to start practicing 'always having a reservation', which is the theme of our ward temple and family history plan this year. I encourage you to regularly reserve time to work on your own family history, have a family name reserved for temple ordinances on familysearch.org, and have a reservation to perform ordinances at the temple. If you don't have a temple recommend or family search account, please contact me or a member of the bishopric and we can help you!
Hope to see you in the temple soon!
