I can’t take credit for this because Glenna Lander told me about it and She said Kay and Kathy Chaffin told her about it. But these clips that you can get to hold Christmas lights in place work great to hold headstone pieces in place!!

I’m sure many are wondering what’s up with fixing the roof of the Chapel. I spoke to them today and they said that they needed at least 2 days without rain. They want to make sure that the inside does not get wet and cause mold to grow.
In the mean time we are still taking donations to cover the cost. They can be sent to

In case you have forgotten, flowers need to be picked up this weekend or they may get thrown away. Flowers that are directly on a headstone or are close by are fine. We just need the flowers that will impede mowing removed. We appreciate your help on this matter.

Just an FYI, the builders are waiting to repair the roof but the weather is not cooperating! They need at least 3 rain free days to fix it. I’m not complaining though because we really need the rain!

Yesterday was a beautiful day for decorating graves. Today not so much! The wind was relentless. Many arrangements were blown off graves. While a lot of flowers were knocked over. We tried to keep up with them but it wasn’t possible! So if you are in the area you might want to double check your flowers. I found this one on the ground in the Southeast section. I could not determine which grave it belonged to so I sat it in the entryway. Hopefully someone will recognize it.
