Pursuit 2:22 Youth Ministries At 2:22, we seek to learn what it means to live as a follower of Christ by pursuing together: righte That can be a dangerous idea if we are not careful.

Taken from the verse in 2 Timothy 2:22: "Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts." We understand that others try to entice us to follow whatever makes us feel good or whatever feels right in the moment. We try to flee from those things that stimulate our

desires and instead chase after what God wants for our lives. As we run from the things that entice us, we pursue after God through living the right way, remaining faithful to what God says regardless of how we may feel about the situations, loving others and God despite our personal feelings, and living in peace--not starting any conflicts. We cannot do this alone but through working together as one group, following after Christ.
