Ferry County Fair has ended and from what I hear, it was amazing!
I also heard that the owner of Steve-O's Republic made a heck of a lot of mushroom burgers! Maybe my crazy tower of balloons helped? Either way, they stayed busy and it’s time for our amazing little town to get ready for fall and fingers crossed the snow flys!

And, just like that…the first day of school arrived! This was the 3rd year the Republic School requested balloons to welcome students back. I think I loved them all!
I chose a frame and a giant crayon for the elementary kids. My thought was…for many kids it would be their first day of school and their family could snap a quick photo on their way in. I’d love to see some of those if you’d like to share!

Arches for junior high and high school kids. Orange and black balloons with tiger print is the perfect thing to wake up our school spirit after the summer break!

**A little side note here…Miss Cheryl has been working in the school for the past 3 years. Most of my time has been with the upper grades, which had been VERY new to me and a little frightening at moments!😳 But, I have come to love my time with those students and figured I would be spending more time with them. And then, when ya least expect ~ expect it! I will be headed back to my roots as I have been hired to work in the kindergarten classroom this year! 🥳
I have learned, any age works for me. I am grateful to spend my time with students. They keep me thinking and HAPPY! 🎈🎈🎈

I also highly recommend celebrating special events at K Diamond K Guest Ranch. This is one of my favorite places to deliver balloons!
Lisa Ortiz of Shamble Studio had a beautiful birthday bash at the ranch in August. She celebrated her 60th with the theme, “Year of the Fire Horse”. You’ll want to look that one up. It is a symbol within the Chinese zodiac.
As we’ve all learned by now, some balloons just do their own thing and that big 0 would not stay put! Then, the beautiful black horse deflated, so I quick replace it with a white horse. I’ve purposely posted both to share how color is so important (at least to Miss Cheryl’s eyes 😬) Finally, I made 10 balloons with a characteristic the fire horse folks are known for. I secured each to a water balloon and flower. Inside each balloon was red and gold glitter.
When I look over the photos, I think….
Next time, I’d like to add fairy lights to those single balloons 🤔 Can you imagine the statement that would make?! 🥳

I liked this balloon a lot. I used a Sparky’s balloon inside and a clear on the outside with her name. It’s hard to really see the affect, but it was neat! 🎈🎈🎈

This baby shower was held at Republic Brewing Company in their garden area and it was perfect! The theme was, “A little cutie (as in tangerine) is on the way”! I fell in love with the colors! And, if you need a party planner, these gals had it going on!

First, I’d like to wish Steve-O's Republic a very happy 1st year anniversary! If you haven’t been in in awhile, it’s time to go! They now serve breakfast, lunch and dinner! I took my mom a couple of weeks ago and she was SO happy with her meal, she even tipped the cook! 🤫😉

Now onto the second thing…This balloon set should have been beautiful AND it only should have taken 45 minutes tops. Thanks to the wind and dust, it took me two hours! The balloons wanted to pop and I could not get the “good tape” to adhere once the dust got to them. I need to thank a few of the customers in the drive through for honking when the hamburger took flight! (There is a garland hanging over the drive through window I wasn’t able to get a photo of) And YES! The Balloon Lady was running after them! 😳
Balloons can be unpredictable and so is Mother Nature. Tomorrow morning I will head back and spruce them up! 😅 🎈🎈🎈

Jim and Marina celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary! Now THAT’S pretty exciting! Marina is a huge animal lover! I was given several ideas and had fun putting something together that would incorporate their love for each other and their animals. I delivered them to the Republic Brewing Company where they were celebrating with friends. Congratulations you two! 🥂
