A few weeks ago the nurses put on a Health Fair for the Community and that prompted me to write a tribute to the many members of the church that’s in the medical field that we appreciate so much! If I missed anyone please let me know and I will be happy to add you!
Honoring the Healthcare Heroes of Belleville Missionary Baptist Church
Today, we proudly honor and celebrate the outstanding doctors, nurses, technicians, and CNAs of Belleville Missionary Baptist Church, under the faithful leadership of Reverend Dr. Daniel Thompson.
As our church will soon celebrate 160 years of ministry, we also celebrate a powerful legacy of compassion, healing, service, and excellence within our church family. It is truly inspiring to witness how the spirit of caregiving has flowed through generations of families in our congregation. In many ways, the calling to serve in the medical field has become a beautiful family legacy — passed from mothers to sons and daughters, sisters to sisters, and throughout generations.

To each of you: thank you for your sacrifice, your compassion, your long hours, your dedication, and your commitment to caring for others. You serve not only in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, laboratories, and healthcare facilities — but you also serve faithfully within the Kingdom of God.
You represent healing hands, caring hearts, and selfless spirits. Your work reflects the love and compassion of Christ every single day.
The Bible reminds us in Jeremiah 30:17:
“For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord.”
And in Galatians 6:9:
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
May God continue to strengthen, protect, and bless every healthcare worker represented in this great church family.
Belleville Missionary Baptist Church salutes you and thanks you for being a blessing to both the community and the Kingdom.
