These sessions will explore the meaning and history of Baptism and the responsibility of the parents to pass on the faith to their children. The parents and godparents then attend a Saturday morning rehearsal on the weekend of the Baptism. The Baptism is celebrated during mass with the Parish family. A six-week Marriage preparation class is available for couples planning on living a Sacramental marriage In the Catholic Church. The six topics covered are: Personality, Communication & Conflict resolution, Finance, Spirituality, Sexuality, and Marriage as a Sacrament. Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA.) RCIA is the process for adults to join our Catholic family. Sessions are held on Monday evenings beginning in mid-September and lasting through Pentecost (mid-May). Two wonderfully enriching sessions are offered on Tuesday’s. Call to join. The morning group studies the Sunday readings. They meet from 9:30 to 11 in the Fr. Lane Atrium. Our evening group is studying the 2nd Part of “Israel’s Story”, a look at the history and culture of scriptural Israel. Group facilitators enrich the process of conversion in reflecting on sacred scripture, faith sharing, prayers and fellowship. Faith Formation Commission
The faith formation team at St. Anthony Parish is called to offer educational and spiritual opportunities that guide and support members of this community in a life long, transforming relationship with Jesus and one another. The team acts as an advisory group to the Faith Formation staff and makes recommendations to the Pastor. It is open to all interested in education of the whole person and the whole family. We ask for a 3-year commitment. We meet monthly on the second Thursday of the month. Sacramental Preparation Teams
