VBS Day 4 of Emerald Crossing at Burr Oak had us sharing how King David invited his enemy’s grandson to the table and took care of him for his life! God gives us more than we need.

There were lots of games, food, music, crafts, & fun!

We’ve almost finished memorizing Psalm 23 together!

Today’s memory verse was Psalm 23:5, “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.”

Join us tomorrow at 5:30pm for a final evening a VBS fun! We will have a celebratory lunch after church this coming Sunday!

Praise God everyone made it home safe from the storm. We have an amazing and dedicated VBS staff group!

Day 3 of Emerald Crossing VBS at Burr Oak was so fun!

- We dance and froze while rocking out!
- We ate breadsticks in snack for the rod and staff components.
- We talked about Gods power over fear while feeling out the unknown in science.
- We faced Battleships in game!
- We made lanterns as God is our light in darkness!

We learned about Saul trying to kill David and the years David spent running and hiding in caves! God was with him.
Memorize our verse with us:
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

Emerald Crossing VBS at Burr Oak Day 2 was super fun!

We talked about the Lord leading and guiding us! We learned about David slaying the giant, Goliath!

Today consisted of
- A Pasta Dinner
- Knocking Out a Giant in games
- Painting Still Waters
-Making Slingshots
- Eating fun water themed snacks & earning gummies for verses
- Playing Musical games and dancing our hearts out

VBS Emerald Crossing Day 1 was a BLAST!

Our first day we focused on the LORD being our shepherd and all about sheep!
We played find the sheep and other games.
We made bracelets.
We learned sink or float!
We had trail mix.
We did an Irish Jig!
