Today we are having difficulties with the heating system. This issue is making the sanctuary significantly cold. Due to this issue streaming will not be available and we will be having service from the parlor in the church. We apologize for this inconvenience and hopefully next week heating will be fixed and we can continue streaming. Hope to see all of you next week, stay warm.

With a heart full of ministry, memories, support, and love -- this coming Sunday will be my last with First Christian Church (DoC) in Rensselaer, Indiana. There is a farewell luncheon immediately following service and it is also my birthday. Funny how God works out the details. LOL! Anyway, I begin my new ministry in Salina, Kansas on October 16th, 2023, but will be in service on the 15th since we are moving into our new place on the 13th. God be with us until we meet again! Goodbye, Farewell, and AMEN will be the good word for this Sunday's service. Thanks for all the memories! Godspeed and God Bless.

The Christian Church in Indiana is pleased to announce the receipt of a $1.25 million grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. in their Christian Parenting and Caregiving Initiative. The Region’s application for this competitive grant was approved this summer and will support the launch of quest: A Journey of Faith.
