Congratulations to the Class of 2026!

The Nevada-Utah Conference family would like to congratulate all of this year’s graduates. Whether you are completing kindergarten, elementary school, academy, college, university, or graduate studies, this achievement represents a significant milestone worth celebrating.

Every graduate has a story. Behind every diploma are years of hard work, sacrifice, perseverance, growth, and God’s sustaining grace. Today we celebrate not only what has been accomplished, but also the bright future that lies ahead.

As you step into the next season of life, remember that your education is not simply about earning a degree or completing a program. It is about preparing to use your gifts, talents, and abilities to serve God and make a positive difference in the lives of others.

We are especially proud of the students from our Nevada-Utah Conference schools who have reached this important milestone. Your conference family is cheering you on and praying for God’s continued guidance and blessings as you move forward.

The 2026 Nevada-Utah Conference Regional Convocation brought together members and guests from across the conference for a memorable weekend of worship, fellowship, and spiritual renewal in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Friday evening worship, Sabbath morning service, and the Sabbath afternoon program were hosted by Abundant Life SDA Church. Attendees also had the opportunity to view many of the recent renovations and improvements made to the church facilities. The sanctuary was filled throughout the weekend as members gathered for uplifting worship, inspiring music, meaningful fellowship, and powerful biblical preaching.

The featured speaker for the weekend was Pastor Debleaire Snell, Speaker/Director of Breath of Life Ministries and Senior Pastor of the Oakwood University Seventh-day Adventist Church in Huntsville, Alabama. His messages challenged and encouraged attendees to deepen their faith and strengthen their commitment to Christ.

The weekend’s activities extended beyond the worship services. Youth and young adults concluded Sabbath with a special vespers program followed by a gaming and sports night at Vegas Valley Adventist Academy. The event provided additional opportunities for fellowship, connection, and community building among young people from across the conference.

From the vibrant worship services and Christ-centered messages to the warm fellowship shared throughout the weekend, Regional Convocation 2026 was a powerful celebration of faith and unity within the Nevada-Utah Conference.

Plans are already underway for the 2027 Nevada-Utah Conference Regional Convocation, which will be held June 4–6, 2027, in Salt Lake City, Utah. The featured speaker will be Dr. Carlton P. Byrd, President of the Southwest Region Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Members and friends are encouraged to begin making plans now to attend another inspiring weekend of worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth.

Congratulations to Dr. Ebenezer Belete and his daughter Tracy! The Belete family are members of the Mountain View SDA Church in Las Vegas.

Father and daughter recently celebrated a remarkable milestone together—both graduating at the same time while maintaining perfect 4.0 GPAs. Their story is a great example of perseverance, dedication, and the importance of never stopping the pursuit of growth and learning.

The Nevada-Utah Conference Vegas Area Sports Day took place on Sunday, May 17, at Vegas Valley Adventist Academy where youth from across the Las Vegas area gathered for a great day of indoor soccer, fellowship, and fun!

Sports Days continue to provide an important opportunity for young people to connect in a positive and spiritual environment while building friendships, staying active, and meeting youth from other churches throughout the conference. We are thankful for all of the leaders, volunteers, and participants who helped make the day a success.

We also celebrate the recent Reno & Utah Sports Day that took place on May 3. It is exciting to see youth from all areas of the conference coming together through fellowship and recreation.

On Sabbath, May 16, Adventurer Clubs across the Nevada-Utah Conference celebrated World Adventurer Day!

This year’s theme, “Walking With Jesus,” reminded us that even our youngest children can build a strong and meaningful relationship with Christ. Churches throughout the conference highlighted the ministry of Adventurers through worship services, music, participation, and special presentations.

We are thankful for the countless parents, coordinators, directors, and volunteers who pour into the lives of our children each week. Thank you for helping our Adventurers grow spiritually, socially, mentally, and physically while pointing them to Jesus.
