Imagine Me Ministries, Inc. (Imagine Me) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to spreading the love of Jesus Christ through one-on-one, group and peer mentoring relationships to girls regardless of race, ethnicity, socio-economic status, or religion. Imagine Me is a mentoring organization for girls that incorporates a holistic curriculum in an after-school program format that also includes out-of
-school and weekend activities. Imagine Me offers academic assistance, cultural enrichment, career exposure, social development and health education to provide participating girls with a wholesome, stimulating and well-rounded experience. Currently, participants are promising middle school girls at Friendship Preparatory Academy at Calverton (Calverton) and various high schools throughout Baltimore City. We endeavor to improve their academic outcomes, increase school attendance and equip girls with positive exposure and productive skills to transition into confident, spiritually grounded and socially balanced young women. In addition, Imagine Me partners with various schools, churches and non-profit organizations and corporations to collaborate on services and coordinate mentor-mentee match relationships outside of the school environment as well as participate in outreach and community service projects and initiatives. Imagine Me is working to improve the well-being of middle school girls by providing productive programming during after-school hours including mentoring services, positive role models and opportunities for girls to explore outside of their communities and expand their horizons. One of the goals of Imagine Me is to serve girls in the inner city of Baltimore and inner cities across the nations. Our Vision is that every young girl will be prepared and have the tools, skills and the support of a one-on-one mentor, group mentors, peers and access to various other sources that will be instrumental to her success as she progresses from middle school to high school to college and beyond into adulthood.
