Has He not Said it?

Do as thou hast said.”
—2 Samuel 7:25

Has God not said it and will He not promise it to come to past and there in lays our confidence! I challenge you today to prayerfully pull out the word of God as if it were being drawn from a scabbard that holds a sword. The Word is your offensive weapon for use at anytime for any need. As one of God faithful children with a regenerated heart, our Father is never caught off guard or troubled by your reminding Him of His promises.

Ephesians 6:17-18: 17.) And take The Helmet of Salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. 18.) With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit…..

As a matter of fact He loves to hear the outcry of our hearts sometimes even needy ones. But even more importantly as you delight yourselves in the Lord, earnestly and diligently drawing closer to Him, he desires to bestow His favors upon you.

Philippians 4:6: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Here’s something to think about, He is more ready to hear from you than you are to ask! The rivers never weary of flowing, nor do the oceans stop ebbing against the shore, and the sun (Son) never grows weary of providing an immense light to the world.

Proverbs 10:22: It is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich, and He adds no sorrow to it.

Saints, it is the eternal nature of our Father to keep His promises, now, in this moment before the day turns, you go ernestly, quickly, boldly and confidently before His throne with “Do as thou hast said.”

James 1:17: Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.

Not The Worlds Expectations

When God chooses those to lead, the people are highly displeased and desire for their own choice like Saul who and were impressed by his outer appearance not discerning he had a corrupt heart. As we humbly discern Good Friday in the advent of Christ’s horrid death, burial and resurrection understand just like today Jesus did not match the expectations for a grand messianic figure of those who rejected and opposed Him. His path and purpose was planned before the foundation of the world, a path of peace, truth, grace, love, forgiveness and redemption who would suffer and had no appeal to the rabid crowds and Chief priests and elders who sought to kill Him. They were seeking a political liberator! Even more vividly illustrating and profound, they wanted the release of Barabbas an unrepentant murderer and insurrectionist appointed to death who posed an even greater threat to the people. But Jesus in his call and purpose, the true king and Savior of all men and women humbly and innocently literally died in Barabba’s place, vividly illustrating that He took the place of all who stand condemned before God’s perfect standard and trust in Jesus for salvation. This mirrors how a wretched sinner through Jesus’s death receives what the condemned criminal deserves. We merit God’s judgement; Jesus assumes that judgement Himself. What are your expectations?

Exiles we be, Sojourners indeed. To a greater place we flee, all the while rejoicing in thy great King. My path is sure and in His name I set high my banner that all may see a way to a glorious prize!

I go on not knowing -
I would not if I might,
I’d rather walk in the dark with God
Than walk alone in the light;
I’d rather walk by faith with Him
Than to walk alone by sight.

No matter what the deal might be presently in your life and even into the future, when you submit yourself to Christ by faith, trusting Him in all of your ways there is a peace that will embrace you that surpasses all understanding. It’s readily available, free, will cause you no harm and will bring great strength, joy, and confidence to your soul. Today, do the best thing and allow yourself to sit at the feet of Jesus and truly get to personally know Him. Have a blessed day Saints. We all could use His peace in a world that is quickly losing its grip on truth and devolving into chaos and retribution.

“In The Face of His Cross”

In the face of Christ’s Cross believers have received such an abundant, past, present, future, eternal and overwhelming victory. It is a grace gift to mankind. Christ’s sacrifice has provided to you an everlasting prosperity that we desire to live in. Jesus has taken away the power of this dark world to defeat us and has conquered it for us. Saints, you can rest in that victory. However, we have pridefully and selfishly created our own conundrum in this world even as believers and the church! We strongly desire the prosperity, unconditional love, forgiveness, the healings, God’s everlasting goodness, all the promises, His peace, driving away of the enemies against us, and fruitfulness of His gifting/purpose in our lives but, we are wholly rejecting being obedient to His Word (doctrine; His life in us) when it does not suit our prideful and selfish agenda often viewed from the influence of the world/culture perspectives. (John 14:23-24; John 14:15; 1 John 2:3; 1 John 2:5)
Matthew 22:36-40 TPT “Teacher (Jesus), which commandment in the law is the greatest?” Jesus answered him, “Love the Lord your God with every passion of your heart, with all the energy of your being, and with every thought that is within you.’ This is the great and supreme commandment. And the second is like it in importance: ‘You must love your friend in the same way you love yourself.’ Contained within these commandments to love you will find all the meaning of the Law and the Prophets.”
Saint’s, desiring and walking in the peace and prosperity of Christ in your life cannot be separated from obedience to all that He commands us to do. They are the same side of one coin. Rejecting obedience to Christ will only place one on that easily found wide fruitless path to destruction, and many shall find it.
Matthew 7:13-14 TPT “Come to God through the narrow gate, because the wide gate and broad gate is the way that leads to destruction - nearly everyone chooses that crowded road! The narrow gate and the difficult way led to eternal life - so few even find it!
We all have much to learn! None of us has arrived in every area of our lives, but it is an absolute imperative that we bend our knees and humble our hearts every day in the face of His glorious cross. Let His light illuminate our paths always with His footsteps that have already travelled the “Way” before us. Lean strongly into His bosom, mount yourself upon His shoulders and you shall find the realm of His faithfulness to carry you through..........!

People can make many professions without any substantive change in the way they live. Sadly, we can find some of this in the church today in various forms. A true man or woman who has by faith believes on the Lord Jesus is regenerated and it involves a total commitment of spirit, soul, and body. This personal commitment in a relationship with Jesus in turn results in a radically changed life. Head knowledge is one thing, but living by faith in the only One who saves not only produces a righteousness of Jesus In you, but enables, produces/demonstrates setting one apart to good works that are a testimony of who and what you trust and believe in. What is being produced in your life? You can bring a little heaven to earth by How you simply live!! (James 2:14-24)

Don’t Switch Teams!

I’ve seen and knew some folk who when the kitchen gets hot switch teams for either temporary satisfaction, or to appear to be in alignment with their friends, culture, politics or maybe we get so busy that it pulls us away from our first love Jesus. It does not always mean that some of these things are in and of themselves bad, but when it takes us away from being in align with the heart of Jesus and they become idols in our lives something must change.
In our own minds we may think we are doing something good, serving, preparing, hosting, being culturally hip, down with the cause but the things/treasures of this world will always distract you, can overwhelm and even cause you to be resentful. Your service/activity now stops being an expression of faith in Christ, his love, truth, grace, forgiveness and becomes a real source of anxiety and can slip over into pride and self-righteousness.
To deal with pressures, anxieties, distractions and unwise choices there is always a prescription that His word always gives us to stay in the light and character of Jesus. We all can be like Mary, Luke 10:38-42 who sat at the feet of Jesus. Like her we must be intentional, present, receptive, unhurried. We must always take the posture of being a true child of God, a disciple always learning of Him and His ways. This will keep us on the narrow but focused path of true fruitfulness and eternal life.
Don’t become intoxicated on the many things that will pull you away from His light. Today chose intentional closeness, learning, and a relationship with Jesus. In this manner you will began to experience the living waters flowing from your life.
“Sometimes the most “productive” thing we can do is pause, take a breath, and sit at the feet of wisdom, before we rush into the noise of tasks and expectations.” Anonymous
Saint’s let us always start with Jesus and let everything start from His Spirit that lives within you! Don't switch teams because life gets a little confusing, complicated or compromising. Stay with Team Jesus, the best team you could ever be on from this very moment to eternity!

Matthew 11:28-30 NASB95
28.) Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. 29.) Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30.) For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
Saints have a blessed day and weekend! 🙏💕
