Today is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Northwest Baptist, please take five minutes to watch this video, then pray. May we never cease in our intercession for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are suffering greatly, even to the point of death, for faithfully following Jesus.

"They conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; for they did not love their lives to the point of death." —Rev. 12:11

Our second Northwest Baptist team is headed to the least-reached to serve alongside missionaries our church supports, who planted the first and only church in this region in Southeast Asia!

Please keep them in prayer as they begin the 22-hour journey to their destination. Ask the Lord to work in and through them mightily for His glory on earth!

Today is the day! The first of two Northwest Baptist teams are off to make the Name, Gospel, and love of Jesus known abroad! They are a beautiful representation of the power of Christ and our community!

We are praying for fruitful ministry as the Lord works in and through you for His glory!

Go, therefore, Sent Ones!

Northwest Baptist Church, did you know that Franklin High School is using our facility for AP Exams this year? Would you take a moment today to pray for the following:

▪️That God would be with each student as they test, giving them the mental clarity and energy to do their best
▪️That God’s love would be palpably felt through the NWBC members serving the administrators and students
▪️That our church would come to mind for students and their families if they are seeking a church home (We ultimately desire that people be drawn to Jesus, not a building.)
▪️That this partnership with a school in the heart of our Jerusalem would be only the beginning of how we can continuously serve students and their families.

Thank you for being a faith family committed to praying!

“The effective, fervent prayer of the righteous avails much.”
—James‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬b

“The chief purpose of prayer is that God may be glorified in the answer.” —R.A. Torrey

The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering (AAEO) is the primary way Southern Baptists fund missions in North America. One hundred percent of gifts given to AAEO go to the field to support more than 2,900 missionary families serving across the United States and Canada.

Jesus said, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation,” and in 2024, “all the world” might be closer than you think. There are hundreds of millions of lost people in North America, and you can help proclaim “the gospel to the whole creation” right here and right now.

Northwest Baptist Church, begin praying now about how the Lord would call you to give to our Samaria through the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering.

Hey Northwest Baptist Church, those winter outreach cards we mentioned during yesterday’s Mission Moment have arrived! This is one of the fresh new ways we are resourcing our church and encouraging you, the priesthood of believers, to be missional right where you are!

Beginning this coming Wednesday and every Sunday throughout the winter, these cards will be on the Missions table.

Kindness and hospitality are great ways for you to be missional right where you live.

Shoveling snow from your neighbor’s walkway and driveway and/or removing the snow from their cars when you’re doing your own is a tangible way to express the love of Jesus. After finishing, place a card on their door, in their mailbox, or wherever you’d know they see it.

We have been given a myriad of creative ways to steward this Gospel we've been entrusted with, so let's employ them together!

Go lead, lift, love, and live for Jesus this week with intention and passion!
