If you have attended church, chances are you have been hurt. So the question is not, were you hurt, but by who and why were you hurt? My answer is undeniably I was hurt by people and it was a result of taking my eyes off of GOD! A good litmus test is when hurt by people it affects the emotions. And when God is the root of my issues it reaches to the depths of my spirit!
