Immediate Opening Accounting Associate
Compensation: Starting $15.00/hour, based on experience
Employment type: Full-time. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 4:30 pm. Overtime pay for time worked over 40 hours in a work week.

This job is ideal for someone who is/has:
Dependable Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Neat in appearance Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detailed oriented Pays attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Processing invoices, payments and receipts
• Recording financial transactions accurately and efficiently
• Reconciling bank statements and other accounts
• Assisting with internal audits
• Working with auditors to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Filing
• Maintaining a safe and clean work area
• Assist families and funeral directors when needed

Qualifications and skills:
• Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software
• Efficient in Microsoft Office
• Verbal Communication
• Professionalism
• Organizational Skills

Education, Experience and Licensing Requirements:
• College degree desired
