Piedmont Baptist Church PBC exists to share the love of Jesus and grow in our faith through worship, community, and service. In 1957, Rev. Chilton and his early followers.

Harold Chilton, alongside a dedicated group of believers, founded the Field Street Mission, which evolved into Piedmont Baptist Church in May 1958 under divine leadership. Today, Piedmont Baptist Church remains devoted to the vision established by Rev. This vision reflects our commitment to fulfilling the Lord's Great Commission by sharing the gospel with a lost and hopeless world. We support more

than fifty mission projects globally and run an active visitation program aimed at reaching individuals in need of salvation. Our pastor, Dr. Duane King, came to faith in May 1976 and became a devoted member of Westside Baptist Church in Mayodan, NC. He began his preaching ministry in April 1987 and assumed the role of pastor at Piedmont Baptist Church in December 1988.
