37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

In a time/generation that seems hopeless, when we face personal obstacles, as our nation is in unrest. As followers of Christ we are met head on with a world that is attempting to remove the One True God from our lives in every way. Even as all of this is going on I am reminded that our persecutions are not new to believers like us, from the past, present, or future. Jesus said, "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake." (The Greatest 2 Words of the bible) BUT GOD! We have hope in Christ. Not only will he burn the sacrifice, he will consume the water in the trench too! This is our God. The God of authority over all things who lives in us. So let us be courageous and like Elijah carry ourselves with confidence because He has already won.

The world says stay home, it says it wont help you any, it says you don't need it, but today choose to be different. Choose to go to church and be transformed in the house of the Lord.
