A huge THANK YOU to all the volunteers who came in this week to help us get ready for our first gathering as Thrive this Sunday (pictured and unpictured!) đź’› From cleaning, to prepping guest bags, to wrangling staff kids: we could not have done this without so many helping hands. We are so grateful for this community.

Join us this Sunday at 10am as we gather as Thrive Community Church for the first time - we’d love to have you there! 🙌🏻

Thriving doesn’t happen alone, it happens in community. 🫶🏼

One of our favorite things is watching that community grow through groups: on campus, in homes, with kids running rampant, or in the quiet of an adult group. Faith grows when we learn from each other and lean into the people around us.

🔗 Group signups are open, and you don’t want to miss your chance to jump into community this fall. Head to thrivecommunity.church/groups or sign up in person this Sunday after service.

🧱 The wall is up and every scheme to stop Nehemiah failed. This week we looked at what it takes to finish what God starts in you, even when the pressure doesn’t let up until the very end.

📲 You can catch up on this week’s message at thrivecommunity.church/sermons or listen on your favorite podcast platform.

➡️ In Genesis 26, Isaac digs three wells.

The first two, people fight him for. He names them Esek (conflict) and Sitnah (hostility).
The third one, nobody comes for. He names it Rehoboth: “Now the Lord has given us room, and we will flourish.”

Room to flourish. In a town called Rehoboth.
This church has sat on this property for 37 years, in a town whose name already meant the thing we were reaching for.

We’ve had our Esek seasons. We’ve had our Sitnah seasons. And we believe God is walking us into Rehoboth: room to thrive, not just hold on.

On September 6, we’re officially becoming Thrive Community Church.

Thriving means flourishing in three places: with God, with yourself, and with others. Not having it all together — just taking the next step from wherever you actually are.

🗓️ Join us this Sunday for our last official Sunday as Community Covenant Church. We encourage you to stop by the lobby to write your story of faith and read others.

Vision doesn’t fall apart all at once. It usually starts with one thing: a lack of integrity somewhere nobody’s watching.

This week we talked about moral authority - what it is, where it comes from, and why it’s the one thing that can’t be faked, borrowed, or shortcut.

Are you building moral authority in your life? What guardrail do you need to set up today?

⚠️ A quick note: due to technical difficulties, this week’s message won’t be available via video or podcast. We’re sorry to miss you if you couldn’t be there in person.

🍿🎥 Last night our students and leaders wrapped up their summer schedule with an outdoor movie night. We loved seeing leaders pouring into the next generation, students feeling comfortable enough to just be, and one of our youngest praying to open the night made us that much more excited for this next season.

This fall, our student ministry has a new name that captures exactly who we want to be: THRV YTH. Not just a name - a next step. A new season is here, and you don’t want to miss it.

First stop: Six Flags🎢. Then Launch Night, when our regular schedule officially kicks off.

đź”—Head to communitycovenant.church/events to sign up for Six Flags (registration is required for this event).
