🌱 What Kind of Seeds Are You Sowing? 🌾

Tonight, our youth group dug into Galatians 6:7-8. Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

Just like in life, the seeds we plant, our words, actions, and choices, will determine the harvest we reap. Are we planting seeds of kindness, faith, and love? Or are we sowing negativity and selfishness?

We can’t wait to see the harvest from the seeds they sowed tonight! 🌿💛

We are so incredibly happy to see some of our church kiddos tonight at the Ballin in the Nest game. 🦅 🏀 Each one of these kiddos is so talented and amazing, and we are beyond proud of them, not just for their accomplishments on the court and at school, but for the active roles they play in their church and youth group. Their dedication to faith and fellowship is truly inspiring! On behalf of Acts29 youth group, congratulations to the 2025 sixth grade Varsity Court Duke and Duchess, our very own Bentley Woods and Elin Bartley! 💙🎉
Come on Upper Room Praise & Worship Center let’s let all these kiddos know we are proud of them! ✝️

Have you ever felt left out or treated differently just because of who you are? Tonight, we’re diving into James 2:1-9, where the Bible teaches us that in God’s kingdom, there are no favorites!! His love is for EVERYONE! 🌎✨

Come ready for a night full of fun, discussion, and real talk about how we can love like Jesus, without favoritism! Let’s build each other up, and learn what it means to see people the way God does. 👀💛

📢 Spreading Love Through Words and Actions! 💌

Tonight, these amazing young ladies spent some time creating valentines for the nursing home residents. ❤️ This monthly ministry is such a blessing, and it’s one of our favorite ways to connect and share God’s love with others.

But tonight wasn’t just about making cards, it was about putting our faith into action and living out the lesson from James 3:3-12. This passage reminds us of the incredible power of our words. Just as a small bit can steer a horse or a tiny rudder can guide a massive ship, our tongues, though small, can have a big impact.

Words can encourage, heal, and uplift, but they can also hurt and destroy if we’re not careful. As these girls wrote words of kindness and encouragement in their valentines, they were choosing to use their voices for good, spreading love and hope to others.

This is what it means to be a light in the world, to use the gifts God has given us, including our words, to bring joy and encouragement to those around us. I am so proud of these girls for letting their faith shine through their actions and showing up for Jesus!

Thank you, Lord, for opportunities like this to serve others and learn more about living out Your Word! 🙌

Snowed in? ❄️ Take this cozy day as a chance to dive into some amazing Bible stories! The Word of God is full of adventures, lessons, and truths to help us grow. Here are a few great places to start:

📖 David & Goliath (1 Samuel 17): A story of courage and trusting God no matter how big the challenge!
📖 Noah’s Ark (Genesis 6-9): A tale of obedience and how God keeps His promises.
📖 The Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37): A lesson in kindness and loving others.
📖 Jesus Walks on Water (Matthew 14:22-33): A reminder to keep our eyes on Jesus even in the storms of life.
📖 The Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23): A list of qualities we can grow in to be more like Jesus.

Grab a blanket, some hot cocoa ☕️, and your Bible📕. Let’s use this snowy ⛄️ day to get closer to God!
