Trinity Lutheran-Reese

We survived the night on the roof. We are sad that we ended up not having school and couldn’t greet our students as they arrived today. Here are a few photos from last night. We will be making a slideshow to share our experience during chapel.

Thank you again for bringing in all of the food to donate to the UCCS Food Pantry.

The 8th graders helped delivery over 1000 items to the food pantry. The students exceeded their goal of 700 items, so Mr. Parks, Mrs. Starkey, Mrs. Hall, and Mrs. Briggs will be spending the night on the school roof tomorrow night.

Thank you to everyone who donated food and helped the students meet their goal. We will post updates tomorrow evening about our adventure.

We had a great time at the MANS Unity Conference these past two days!

Mrs. Hall's class had a great Science Field Trip to Bay City State Park today. We studied macroinvertebrates, and marsh ecology, did a mammal skull identification activity, had a shelter building competition, and met a box turtle and a wood turtle in the nature center.

Outside, we saw some trumpeter swans, a bunch of mallard ducks, a Great Blue Heron, and eight whitetail deer! We even had a chance to fish in Tobico Marsh, and we caught over 15 panfish. It was a great day exploring awesome bits of nature in our "neck of the woods."

Thank you, Lord, for giving us this great opportunity to learn about your creations!
