This week our church has been blessed to welcome 40 children to Vacation Bible School. When we first began planning, we had 29 children registered. Watching God continue to bring families through our doors has been a joy.

But the real story isn't the number.

The real story is the people.

It's the coordinator who spent months planning, organizing, and praying before the first child ever walked through the door. It's the volunteers who gave up evenings to teach, create, laugh, listen, and love. It's the youth who stepped into leadership and discovered they have gifts to share. It's everyone who prepared snacks, cleaned up messes, registered children, decorated classrooms, and made every child feel welcome.

Vacation Bible School doesn't happen because of one person. It happens because the Body of Christ works together, each person offering their own gifts in service to God and to His children.

Thank you to every volunteer who has poured your time, energy, and heart into this week. You have made a difference in the lives of these children—perhaps in ways you'll never fully know.

"Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it." — 1 Corinthians 12:27

To God be the glory for all He has done.

A Prayer for Summer Camp

Gracious God, Thank you for the gift of summer camp—for the places where children gather, friendships begin, and hearts become open to discover more of who You are. Before any child arrives, You are already there. You are present in the trees that surround the camp, the waters that invite us to play, the skies above us, and the beauty of creation that reminds us of Your goodness....

Pray for children, counselors, volunteers, and staff as they gather for summer camp. A prayer celebrating faith, community, and God's presence in creation.
