This year, the Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary will occur on a Saturday. According to the USCCB's guidance, it will not be considered a Holy Day of Obligation in the United States.

Nevertheless, this feast remains a significant event in the Church's liturgical calendar. In recognition of its importance, Assumption Masses have been scheduled at all of our churches.
