We are currently seeking a candidate with a strong background in vocal music to lead congregational singing and direct a small ensemble of eight or fewer members during worship services. Services commence at 10:15 am, and this position offers compensation. Responsibilities include leading congregational singing with a microphone and directing the small group at least once a month. This role requires availability on two Sundays per month when the pianist is present, as well as attendance at worship team meetings on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 pm or a monthly meeting with Pastor Marcy for worship planning. Additionally, availability is required for Holy Week, Easter, and Christmas Eve worship services at 7 pm on December 24. We prefer candidates who can read music and accompany the small group on piano, possess an understanding of liturgical church worship, and are able to teach new songs and liturgy to the congregation.
