One of our staff email addresses was hacked and sent out fake emails to many of you. The emails looked like they came from Heidi and so far the subject line has been "New Submission Agreement from Pacific Presbytery".

If you receive that email, please delete and do not open or click any links.
If you receive any other emails that look suspicious from someone at the presbytery, please notify our office and Stated Clerk so we may investigate further.

At this point, no other systems or other accounts appear to have been compromised.

Thank you for helping protect our community!
Blessings,
Rev. Jennifer Pattee, Stated Clerk

A letter from the Stated Clerk of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church and the Interim Director of the Interim Unified Agency calling for 10 actions "grounded in the gospel."

"This suffering cannot be explained away as the collateral damage of war. It is the result of choices that violate international law and fundamental moral norms. The world’s tolerance, even facilitation, of this violence has become a collective moral failure. Silence in the face of this is not neutrality; it is complicity."

A prayer vigil ia being held online today for our siblings in Mission Presbytery and all those affected by the floods in Texas. The vigil will be at 3pm Pacific Time, 12pm Hawaii time.

In the midst of our grief and concern for our Presbytery siblings in the Hill Country, we will gather Sunday evening at 5:00 p.m. CDT on Zoom to be together and pray for all those affected. Transitional General Presbyter, Rev. Bobby Musengwa, will lead us in a time of prayer and reflection. All those who wish to lift up the people of Central Texas and the Hill Country are invited.

A beautiful word from our national office...

On July Fourth, we take a moment to pause and give thanks to those who have traveled the long road to freedom, both now and throughout our nation’s history, as well as for the sacrifices made along the way. Join us in celebrating independence and freedom with a prayerful spirit of gratitude for those whose vision helped to create a better future.
