Lawson Marriage Fellowship

Lawson Marriage Fellowship Lawson Marriage Fellowship was founded in 1994 by Ralph and Cathy Lawson. The primary purpose of this What is shared in the fellowships remain there.

We want all couples attending the fellowships to feel a sense of connection and openness. We strive to have an atmosphere where they feel confident in sharing things that are working for their relationship as well as those issues causing conflict. As in most groups and cultures the sitting down and sharing of a meal always garners a sense of community, so at LMF fellowships a meal is always a part

of our time together. We also play fun games both secular and bible related. The sharing of the Word of God and how it relates to marriage is the foundation for the meeting. There is an opportunity for couples to share from their hearts and seek advice from couples with longevity in their relationships. Many of the couples that fellowship with us are strong in the Word of God and are always willing to share a word of encouragement to those in attendance. At our retreats special guest couples head sessions on marriage.

MARRIAGE MONDAY

Marriage is not about staying the same it’s about growing together through every season. ❤️

As married couples, you are both ever-changing. Your dreams may change. Your responsibilities may change. Your personalities, priorities, and even the way you communicate may evolve.

The person you married years ago may not be the exact same person standing beside you today and that’s okay. Neither of you are meant to stay the same.

The goal isn’t to resist change; it’s to learn how to grow, adjust, communicate, forgive, and continue choosing each other through every version of yourselves.

Give your spouse room to grow.
Be willing to grow yourself.
And make sure your marriage grows with you not apart from you.

❤️ Marriage is a lifelong journey of becoming, together.

Marriage Monday Wisdom 💍

Your spouse doesn’t need perfection—they need a safe place to be loved, heard, and understood. ❤️

Choose unity over winning the argument.

It’s not you vs. your spouse. It’s both of you vs. the problem.

MARRIAGE MONDAY | YOUNG COUPLES TESTIMONY

Anthony & Unique married for 2 years and attending the Lawson Marriage Fellowship (LMF) Retreat for the very first time! ❤️

What makes their story even more special? They were invited by their parents, who faithfully attend every LMF Retreat. What a beautiful picture of one generation pouring wisdom, encouragement, and intentionality into the next!

For young couples, this is your reminder: you don’t have to wait until your marriage is struggling to invest in it.

A healthy marriage requires work.

Anthony & Unique’s decision to attend a marriage retreat after only two years of marriage is a powerful example of being proactive instead of reactive. They chose to invest in their relationship, learn, grow, and gain wisdom that can serve their marriage for years to come.

Young couples, don’t just prepare for the wedding prepare for the marriage.

Your marriage is worth the investment. Your future is worth the investment. And the legacy you build together is worth the investment.

Marriage Monday Testimony

This year, Elijah & Chasity attended the Lawson Marriage Fellowship (LMF) Retreat for the very first time, and what a blessing it was! Through biblical teaching, authentic fellowship, and Christ-centered encouragement, they received wisdom that will continue to strengthen their marriage for years to come.

God’s Word reminds us that wisdom is more valuable than earthly riches because it equips us to build our homes on a firm foundation.

“By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.” Proverbs 24:3–4

Marriage retreats are more than a getaway they are an intentional investment in your covenant. They provide an opportunity to step away from the noise of everyday life, hear God’s voice, reconnect with your spouse, and receive practical, biblical tools to help your marriage flourish.

If you’ve been thinking about attending a marriage retreat, let their testimony encourage you. Don’t wait until your marriage is struggling to invest in it. Healthy marriages are built intentionally, one decision at a time.

We invite you to join us at next year’s Lawson Marriage Fellowship Retreat! Come expecting God to strengthen your marriage, deepen your friendship, and draw you and your spouse closer to Jesus Christ. Your marriage is worth the investment.

Marriage Monday ✝️🤍💍

It’s been two months since our Lawson Marriage Fellowship Retreat, but the work God began doesn’t end when the retreat is over. Healthy, Christ-centered marriages are built one day, one prayer, one conversation, and one act of love at a time.

Just like a house, every part of your marriage deserves intentional care:

Foundation: Build your marriage on Jesus Christ, the only foundation that never fails.
Living Room: Continue choosing friendship, laughter, and quality time together.
Dining Room: Speak life, listen well, and make room for meaningful conversations.
Kitchen: Serve one another with love, teamwork, and gratitude in the everyday moments.
Bedroom: Protect intimacy by cultivating trust, affection, and emotional connection.
Bathroom: Allow God to cleanse your hearts through honesty, vulnerability, repentance, and growth.

Marriage isn’t about having a perfect house it’s about inviting the Master Builder to strengthen every room. Every prayer you pray together, every challenge you overcome, and every choice to love one another is another brick being laid on a lasting foundation.

May the lessons from retreat continue to bear fruit in your home, and may your marriage become a testimony of God’s faithfulness, grace, and redeeming love.

“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” Psalm 127:1

Keep building. Keep believing. Keep choosing one another. The best is still ahead. ❤️

I think it’s time to go back to school. Ummm. Recently a family member and a friend asked me why I blocked them. I was confused. I checked just in case and there were no blocked people on my list. Then I see this. Hmmm, I am not the only one. So now I am fixing my blocked posts. I wondered where everybody had been! This is good to know. It's ridiculous to have over 300 friends and only 25 are allowed to see posts.
I ignored this post earlier because I didn’t think it worked. It WORKS!! I have a whole new news feed. I’m seeing posts from people I haven’t seen in years.
Here’s how to bypass the system FB now has in place that limits posts on your news feed. Their new algorithm chooses the same few people - about 25 - who will read your posts...
okay here goes....HELLO. To regain friends in your news feed and get rid of ads - Hold your finger anywhere in this post and click ′copy’. Go to your page where it says ‘What's on your mind?’ Tap your finger anywhere in the blank field. Click paste. This upgrades the system.
Hello new and old friends!🥰

It's sad we have to keep doing this to kill the Ads and see our friends hello let’s see if this works

Marriage Monday Testimony ✝️🤍💍

Four years may seem like a short time to some, but every year of marriage is filled with opportunities to choose love, extend grace, forgive quickly, and grow together. Marriage isn’t always easy it requires intentionality, sacrifice, and a commitment to keep Christ at the center.

“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:12

One of the greatest investments you can make in your marriage is investing in your spiritual growth together. Marriage retreats are more than a weekend away they are an opportunity to step away from the distractions of everyday life, reconnect with one another, strengthen communication, and draw closer to Jesus Christ.

When we invest in our relationship with Christ, we strengthen the foundation of our marriage. Healthy marriages don’t happen by accident; they are built intentionally through prayer, God’s Word, humility, and a willingness to keep growing together.

May we all choose to invest in our marriages not only for today, but for generations to come. ❤️

Marriage Testimony Monday 💍

Two months after the LMF Marriage Retreat, Fred & Sonia Williams are still seeing the fruit of what God began. ❤️

The fellowship with other Christ-centered couples reminded them they are not alone, and the sessions on biblical financial stewardship gave them practical tools to manage their finances with greater unity and purpose.

Marriage isn’t about staying the same it’s about growing together in Christ. When couples intentionally invest in their marriage, God produces lasting fruit.

“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.” Hebrews 10:24
