Pageant of Our Lord For many years, Pageant of Our Lord has delighted audiences with a unique presentation of the life of Christ through "living" works of art.

After 35 years since its first presentation at Rolling Hills Covenant Church, Pageant of Our Lord will move to a new venue with a new name and make its debut in spring 2023 as Living Art Experience at Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center. thing people posing exactly like their counterparts in the originals. Inspired by this production, Dr. David Halverson, producer and music director, worked to create something similar, yet focused on the life of Christ. Pageant of Our Lord made its debut in 1986 with the work of a group of artists who created six reproductions of biblical art work. They faced many challenges that still continue today: makeup, costuming, technical engineering, and adjusting the size and scale of the art to maintain the original relationship of the human figures to the background of the paintings and sculptures, along with having it all fit within a stage with height restrictions. Since its debut, Pageant has developed into a magnificent production with the help of over 400 volunteers who donate hundreds of hours each year to share this unique gospel experience. Moving forward, Living Art Experience will continue the legacy of Pageant by delighting new audiences and sharing the gospel through dramatic and realistic depictions of some of the world’s most famous masterpieces.

After 35 years since its first presentation, Pageant of Our Lord will be moving to a new venue with a new name and will make its debut at Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center as "Living Art Experience" in spring 2023. Three presentations are scheduled for April 7 and 8, 2023. Tickets available in October.
