“Keep waking up.”

Faithfulness means continuing to look honestly at ourselves, individually and as a church, and asking what still needs to change so that we might more clearly live out the work Jesus has called us to.

Reformed and always reforming. Keep waking up.

Faith was never meant to be passive.

Romans 12:11 is a reminder to stay engaged, to bring energy, purpose, and heart to the way we live and the way we serve.

May our faith show up in practical ways: noticing people, stepping in, lending a hand, and using what we have to make a difference.

What would change today if we invited God into not only the words we speak, but the thoughts we carry?

May our words bring grace, our thoughts bring peace, and our hearts remain close to Him.

Join us for a special Adult Sunday School this Sunday, August 23 at 9:00 AM in the Family Life Center!

We’re excited to welcome missionaries Richard and Bettina Collins from Living Leadership. They’ll share more about their ministry and the ways God is at work through their mission.

We hope you’ll join us to hear their story and learn more about their work!

What has the greatest influence over our hearts?

We’re constantly pulled by things like wealth, status, comfort, convenience, and even political ideology. But Jesus calls us to a different kind of life, one centered in His love and motivated by care for others.

As Dietrich Bonhoeffer wrote, “The church is the church only when it exists for others.”

May we be a church that lives that out.

Whatever you’re carrying today, you don’t have to carry it alone.

“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you.” — Psalm 55:22

Bring your worries, your questions, your burdens, and your hopes to God. He is faithful to meet us in the middle of it all and give us the strength we need for each day.

May this be your reminder this week to release what you can’t control and trust the One who holds you. 💛

A quick Family Camp weekend reminder: there will be no youth programming tomorrow night (Friday) and no children’s or youth programming this Sunday, August 9.

On Sunday, the nursery will remain open for parents to use with their young children, and coloring pages will be available for children staying in the sanctuary.

Please keep everyone attending Family Camp in prayer!

On Sunday, we prayed over these backpacks—and over the children who will carry them into a new school year. 🎒

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our annual backpack drive in partnership with Love INC. Your generosity filled each backpack with essential school supplies and a powerful reminder that every child is seen, supported, and loved.

When the road ahead feels uncertain, we can hold onto this truth: God is with us, God is for us, and we do not face anything alone.

May that promise give you courage for today and peace for whatever comes next.
