We are pleased to welcome Shaykh Abdurahman Sultan M***a to the MAPS Team as a Qari & Quran Teacher.

Shaykh Abdurahman is a hafiz of the Quran with formal Ijazah in Quran recitation and brings more than 20 years of experience teaching the Quran and leading prayers in Makkah, Jeddah, and Ethiopia. Throughout his years of service, he has dedicated himself to helping students strengthen their connection with the Book of Allah and develop a lifelong love for the Quran.

Please join us in welcoming Shaykh Abdurahman to our community. We ask Allah (SWT) to bless his efforts, grant him success in serving our community, and allow us all to benefit from his knowledge and recitation.

Over 10,000 people joined us for the first-ever public Eid al-Adha celebration in the City of Bellevue - and we are overwhelmed with gratitude. 🤍

We were deeply honored to be joined by 12 elected officials who stood with our community on this milestone day:

Deputy Mayor of Bellevue Dave Hamilton, Bellevue City Councilmember Vishal Bhargava, Bellevue City Councilmember Naren Briar, King County Councilmember Sarah Perry, State Senator Yasmin Trudeau, State Representative Osman Salahuddin, State Representative Janice Zahn, Bothell City Councilmember Rami Alkabra, Auburn City Councilmember Hanan Amer, Redmond City Councilmember Vanessa Kritzer, Redmond City Councilmember Jessica Forsythe, and Newcastle City Councilmember Sun Burford as well as Deputy Puente from the Redmond PD.
